Men came in and dropped food on the floor.
"FOOD, SUBJECTS. COME AND GET IT." One of them yelled before leaving. I stared at the pile of food in disgust.
Ugh... No thanks.
Suddenly, Heath and hundreds of other prisoners lunged for the food, hissing and snarling at each other.
Like wild animals.
I was the only one not fighting over food.
I can starve for all I care.
Heath glanced at me. He had a large chicken drumstick in his mouth.
"Annie, Why aren't you eating?" He asked.
Annie? That's a new one.
"I-I'm not hungry....."
Heath frowned. "Everyone gets hungry, kiddo." He fought through the crowd of vicious beasts and came back carrying another drumstick. He walked over to me and set the drumstick in front of me. He sat down.
"Eat."
I shook my head.
No way I'm gonna eat that.
Heath sighed. "Fine. If you won't eat, then I'll MAKE you eat."
Suddenly, Heath lunged for me and pinned me down to the floor.
"H-Hey!" I yelled, trying to kick Heath off of me. "L-Let go!"
"Not until you eat!"
"WHY DOES IT MATTER IF I DO OR NOT?! NO ONE WILL CARE ABOUT ME ANYWAYS!!!! I'M BETTER OFF DEAD!!!!" I yelled, tears escaping my eyes.
All eyes were on me and Heath.
Heath looked surprised by my sudden words.
His grip loosened. I broke my hands free and ran away.
I could hear Heath yelling my name.
But I kept running.
