THE WORLD you lived in was hopeless, baleful, and bleak. You exist in a world where Chuck De Nomolos succeeded in eliminating the Great Ones. However, you and a group called The Renegades plan to overthrow the authoritarianism government in hope for freedom.
But after a mission goes wrong, you're chased after by The Watchers, Nomolos' police. In order to save your skin and the future, you use your untested time machine.
Now, you're stuck in the past looking for two dudes that only seemed like a mere legend to you.
