Janayah's P.O.V

we arrived at the cookout I got out the car he pulled me close "I bought you some clothes if you wanna change " he wispherd in my ear "it's in the trunk" he added he poped the trunk open and got the bag and gave it to me "come on let's get you a room princess" I blushed when he called me that he took my hand we entered the house it was playing "Im out" by Ciara people were talking and laughing once they saw Jay they started waving and saying hey giving him hugs an then eyed me and watched me like as if I wasn't suppose to be here "why are they looking at me like that?" I asked Jay he glanced at them "don't stress them they friends with my ex and heard about the fight" he looked at me "don't stress boo come on we going up stairs so you can change" he lead me a room "I'll be down stairs waiting everything is in there shoes jewelry everything" he closed the door and left me to change it's funny he didn't ask to come watch he left me I never met a guy like that I pulled out the stuff it was a a black mini skirt with a gray shirt and gray and white Jordan's this nigga wanted us to match (smh) I put it on along with a white necklace and and bracelets I found perfume in there it smelled wonderful I touched up my makeup and hair and met Jay down stairs he was talking to a lady she look like she was in her 30's looking really good I touched Jay arm to let him know that I was hear now was playing "I'm a stoner" by yung thug he re directed his attention to me I smiled he kissed my check "you look great" it made me smile even more I over to the lady she was smiling at me "oh Janayah this is my grandmother Janice" Janice smiled now that I have a closer look at her she was wearing a sun dress that was orange and yellow that stoped at her above her knees and 6 inch wine bottle cork color weadges "wow she looks young "ma this is my new friend Janayah she new here she is from Texas" her smile got brighter I smiled back "she's pretty Jhayden" he rubed his neck smiling "yeah I know ma" he laughed "show her around introduce her to the family" she looked at me "and don't worry about if they look at you rudely if they pop off let me know I'll kick their ass they know better" she gave me a hug and walked off "she looks soo young Jay" he grabed my hand "yeah I know you want a drink?" I nodded and went to the kitchen "and poured us some ciroc I never drank before "I never drank before" I said softly then body party remix played by Ciara featuring future he laughed and handed me the shot "time to try something new come on you ain't on lockdown have fun" he took the shot I smiled and took the shot then I felt a burning in my chest I rubbed my chest Jay laughed "want another?" I nodded he poured us both a shot we took it together janice walked in "boy put my shot cups away and give this pretty lady a real drink" she smiled he laughed she hit him in the chest "here hunny a margarita for you" she gave me the drink "and you get a beer and go introduce this girl to your cousin he will turn cars if he finds out you have a date and ain't said nothing to him" she walked to the back yard Jay grabed the beer out the fridge I took a sip of my drink "let's go out side" he took my hand and lead me out side people were dancing a old guy was on the grill and then the Dj was making music a lot people were saying hey to Jay he introduced me some smiled some looked at me in disgust I shook them off even though it got under my skin "COUSIN!!!!!" we heard in the distance Then we saw a guy walking over to us with a girl on his side "waddup brotha" Jay said they hugged "hey Jasmie" Jay greeted the girl she smiled I finished my drink "Brotha Jasmie this is my date Janayah" he smiled and checked me out I smiled she smiled back "bae this is my cousin Tyrone but we call him jacks and his girlfriend Jasmie" I smiled Jay poped opened his drink and started drinking "Sup ma" Jacks said shacking my hand I shook back "hi" he smiled "you know you gon be Jay's girl right?" I laughed "how you know that?" I said still laughing "he only brings girlfriends over to the family Jay knows that" he looked at Jay "she know she wanna be mine I don't know why she trippen son" he said finishing his beer throwing the bottle on the ground jacks nodded "well cousin she cute" Jay nodded pulling me closer "yeah she from Texas you know?" Jacks nodded "cool ma you like it hear so far?" I nodded then my song Keep Lookin by Ciara started playing I sat the glass down "dance with me Jay" I pulled Jay to where everyone was dancing at and starting dancing on Jay he grabed my hips I started twerking on him then some bounce music came on I danced even harder I droped it low more people came around to watch or dance people were yelling "GET IT JAY" "TAP THAT JAY TAP THAT !" I laughed and kept twerking until the song was over once it was over sweat was on my forehead he looked at me like Damn girl "Damn girl!" he said he pulled me closer "that suppose to for private" he joked I laughed he licked his lips I kissed him then you heard people cheering and whistling i broke away "I'm going to the bathroom" I whispered in his ear I walked off I know he was staring at my ass once I got to restroom "damn this is a big bathroom" it has two toilets and 2 sets of sinks and mirrors I went to the sink and wiped the sweat from my face and redid my makeup and hair then someone eles came in it was that girl that was mugging me when I first got here I continued to fix my self up she rolled her eyes and went to the other mirror I rolled my eyes "you know you are just a backup" I looked at her "excuse me" I said she stoped putting on her makeup "you just a back up Jay still loves his ex there gonna get back together your just a sideline nobody here likes you they are only being nice now but they gonna get sick of you then Jay is gonna drop you and go to his true love and it's not you so don't get confotable your not the fist hoe he done got with and you ain't the last someone is gonna take your place" she finished putting on her makeup I left the bathroom with tears in my eyes I could feel her smirking I could have hit her but I didn't have time nor energy I walked into the living room people notice that I was crying I heard some whispher "that's Jay girl" ""what wrong with her?" then she walked out the bathroom laughing out loud I ran out side and started to walk home it was getting dark...I headed to canal street to go home

Jay's P.O.V

It's been a while and Janayah hasn't came back yet I went in to go look for her I couldn't find her I stop Alcia she was the one that mugged her when she got here "you seen my date?" I asked she siped her drink then laughed "I told her the truth she got upset and left "you what!?" I grabed her arm really tight and pulled her into the side hallway rage filled in my body "what the hell you do that for? and what truth?" She try jerking away I grabed her tighter "ow Jay your hurting me" I pulled her close not loosing my grip "if we weren't at this party I would have fucked you up and you know I will" she looked scared "now what truth what did you tell her?" she looked at me "I told her she was a backup and that she wasn't gonna last" I pused her against the wall I wanted to hit her so bad "how long ago was that?" she smacked her lips "Jay why you fooling with her..." I held her harder she winced "how long" I gritted my teeth "five mintues ago" I let her go "cousin where you going?" my cousin asked "Janayah left I gotta get her it's dark she can't be by herself out there" I tried to walk off he stoped me "I'm going to son" he went in the hallway closet and pulled out his gun put on his waist we ran out to my car and sped off I drove all up and down bourbon couldnt find her I called her it went to voicemail I drove to canal I saw her walking it looked like she crying "Jaynay!" I yelled she looked back at me and walked faster I drove up to her "Janayah!" I yelled "leave me alone!" she spat "bae look what ever Alcia said ain't true" she kept walking "brah stop the car go talk to her I got the ride take my piece" he handed me the gun I got out the car and catches up with her "Janay can we talk please" she looked at me "please" I begged she wiped her eyes and nodded "okay get in the car it's not safe out here" she got in the back seat and got there with her and jacks started driving his phone rang I pulled her in my lap and kissed her forehead she silently cried I rocked back and forward "yo?" he said "nah I'm driving to Jay house imma be back in 30 bae they had beff I was helping" I heard a girls voice it was Jasmie "okay bae bye" he hung up the phone and kept driving we soon got to my house me and Janayah got out "cousin I'll tow her back in the morn gotta head back " I nodded "ight brotha" I held Janay hand we walked to my room she sat on the couch I sat next to her "do you love her?" she asked I pulled her to me "if I loved her I would still be with her but I'm not Janay I want you" she looked at me I stood up "will be my girl my princess" she smiled "yes" she said getting up I hugged her we say back on the couch and just laid their and the slowly went to sleep
