"Run Aphmau! Run!" Is all I heard my mother say, then a gun shot. I looked up to see my mother on the floor, bleeding everywhere. She looked at me. "P-Please Aphmau, Run," She took another deep breath. "I love you.." She closed her eyes and exhaled. Taking her last breath. I heard footsteps and I ran out of the door.
I ran into the dark forest. I was too scared to think. I didn't want to die, I'm only 5. I was still running whenever my hair got caught on a branch. I yelped in pain and un- tangled it, just to hear a man, I didn't recognize his voice..
"Aw look at the baby, crying for help.. Heh, don't be like that.-" He said in a playful voice. I kicked him. "Don't you dare do that!" I bit his hand and ran. The man caught up to me faster. "Heh." I heard a slice.
Everything went dark.
