Was I having another dream? Why did I not recognize my surroundings? The white walls were blinding to my sensitive eyes which had regained focus and was no longer seeing a blurry image. My mind quickly filled with questions as a man walked into the room. He seemed fairly young and wore eyeliner as if we were back in 2005, not to mention his white jacket that doctors wore all the time.

Ah, 2005. It was a much easier time back then; so young and oh so care-free. Well, not very young considering it is 2016 and I am 23 years old, watching as my life slowly crumbled away from me. And I didn't even get the birthday cake that I wanted. Unbelievable!

As I watched the man walk to me, I began moving but soon noticed I couldn't move. It seems as if they had tied me down as if I am some kind of a hazard to anyone –not that I would even hurt a fly, violence is never the answer-. The man looked at me with sorrow and dread in his eyes. He seemed to have been walking with a message on his heart that weighed a ton.

He reached my bed and sat down in a chair that was on the left side of the bed. It was close to the window and he began staring out into the view of the city. He looked at me often but saying nothing. I began to move and shake in my bed with the restraints over my ankles, wrists and elbows, and over my chest. Gosh, there was even one over my head. He looked at me with a facial expression of 'lay still so we can speak', but no words left his mouth.

The man sighed and looked at me, finally ready to speak.

"It happened again" the man said while looking at the floor. "We warned you that if you ever lost control again we will need to send you away. And unfortunately that is exactly what we will be doing. Even though it happened a while ago, we cannot risk letting you hurt anymore people. We have tried everything Gerard, nothing is working and you are not co-operating." And with that, he got up and left the room while two nurses walked over to inject me and as soon as I saw that needle, gosh did I begin to freak the fuck out. The lady rubbed my forehead in an attempt to calm me down but as soon as I saw the needle enter my vein and the yellowy-green substance enter my body, everything went black.
