Genji Shimada

Hanamura Arcade! You're favorite place in the whole word, it was an amazing sight for you to set on. Flashing screens of old 8-bit games, all the good original stuff just waiting to be challenged by you. Of course, you never went here alone — You brought your best friend that was familiar with the place. Genji Shimada, you both here childhood friends since your family was the Shimada Clan's allies for years.

"(Y/N), I am getting a bit hungry! How about we try some Takoyaki?" Genji smiled at you while placing his free on that was off the game against his stomach, indicating hunger.

You looked at him then nodded a bit getting a drink from a nearby soda machine, and walking over to him. "Sure, but this time i'll pay... You must save your money for that hair dye you wanted remember?" You both began to talk out the arcade, him going ahead to open the door for you. This made you smile and he had a flustered look on his face.

"A-ah yes... If you are sure I truly do not mind paying for you (Y/N), it is a custom." He followed behind you again with hands in his pockets. "I mean, yes the green hair dye would be nice but... I feel it is only right to pay for such a sweet.. Friend like you!"

  His expression and body language was adorable and you couldn't resist but giggle at him being so flustered, so you smiled and took him by the hand. "Oh Genji you are such a charmer! I'll pay for this i insist - And maybe afterwards we can go to the store and buy you your hair dye, I know how to follow the steps!" Genji blushed furiously then nodded and followed you to the restaurant across the street.

~ Time Skip ~

  You and Genji had a big plate of Takoyaki to share, he smiled at the sight his pupils growing. You from experience trusted his expressions and took a roll with your chop sticks eating one. "Mmmmm... This is so good!" You continued chewing enjoying the taste, forgetting that you were not alone. Genji looked at you with an amused smile then ate as well.

  "I am glade to see you enjoy this, me and Hanzo have came here ever since we were boys after training." After you and him finished your last fee chews... There was one last roll of Takoyaki. Genji and you met eyes raising an eye brow at each other with a smirk.

  "Hey Genji," you started teasing him a bit putting your hand on his, "Remember how you said, you would always be kind, thoughtful, and cherish your best female friend?" He began to blush heavily at you when you said that, phased by your trick he slightly nodded staring into your beautiful eyes.

  "O-of course (Y/N), how could I ever forget that pr-" His face then had wiped from a face of love to a face of complete disappointment and pouty ness when he realized it was a trick, but before he could even say anything- you already ate the last roll. "Ahh I see you have tricked me..." He chuckled a bit still with a slight blush.

You then nodded smiling a bit getting up and taking the trash out putting your hands at your hips, "Well- how about we get your dye, go home, take a shower, watch some TV and maybe then do your hair?" You got your thinks awaiting him to answer smiling.

"Good plan, and actually I think i do have money now, holiday sales right?" He chuckled opening the door for you as you both went to make your way to the store just a fee blocks away. During the trip to and back from the store you could tell Genji had feelings for you, it was very obvious but you didn't want to embarrass him more than he felt already. The trip back to hid home was all of teasing name calling, stories of childhood, and your interest similar to his as always.

~ Time Skip ~

Once you both got home, you both took turns in the shower and putting pjs on, while Genji was waiting for you he put on one of your favorite movies. When you came back from the shower he was sitting on the bed smiling at you with the remote, "I thought you would enjoy this movie, a little thank you for the meal after the Arcade... I understand it is not the best surprise but... I thought it would be special?"

You simple smiled at him and jumped right next to him hugging him tightly, him hugging back. "Genji you try too hard to make me happy, you always make me happy so don't stress over!" He nodded smiling holding you in his lap as he began the film.

A while into the movie you noticed Genji got a bit heavy resting his weight on top of you, as you looked you saw that he was already half asleep. You blushed a bit and giggled seeing his cute face asleep. You gently laid him back on the bed, turned off the TV and cuddled with him. "Goodnight Genji you said as you started to fall asleep"

It was around midnight Genji fell his arm go numb with pins and needles, as he woke up to see such a lovely sight asleep on him he blushed. "(Y/N)..." He hesitated a moment to see if you were truly asleep then he held your face up to his as gently as possible leaning closer. "(Y/N).. You are the most... stunning young woman I have ever laid eyes upon.."

You woke up suddenly but still eyes closed, you heard what Genji had to say and blushed madly when you felt his warm lips on yours... A kiss! Genji Shimada has kissed you, and now was your chance to tell him your deep feelings as well. As soon as we leaned up you quickly wrapped your arms around his neck deepening the kiss. Genji's face was never brighter in all his years, but he gradually kissed back holding you close to him.

It was the best moment in your life after you both caught your air, he gazed into your eyes long and lovingly as he held you close to his chest. "I love you.. I am sorry I was unable to tell you, (Y/N).." You simply smiled at him kissing his cheek.

"Its okay Genji, I love you just the same way... It was rather cute to see you so shy like that" He blushed a bit looking at you with a smile of delight kissing your forehead, snuggling with you in bed yet again. "Thank you (Y/N).." You both fell asleep snuggling against each other.
