"I guess that was the dungeons way to test if you would second guess your decision" I stated out loud.
The second in command nodded in reply and continued on. The rest of the dungeon wasn't any easier. We had encountered golems with vines creeping out of their boulders . I thought outloud "I wonder what type of djin enhabits this dungeon. Earth or plant"
"Doesn't matter, all we have to worry about is getting the medal vessel and taking it to lord Ko." The second in command replied.
Not much longer and we reached a giant door decorated with shining boulders around the door. On each door was an indebted shape of a hand. I looked over at the second in command, then behind us. All of the men that had come with us had died. Either from the first trap or the dungeon monsters that attacked. I hadn't even been scratched by one, since the second in command had ordered me not to lift my blade which only angered me beyond belief.
"How do you suppose we open it?" The second in command asked.
"Well since there are only two hands on the doors, then that must mean we have to open it together" I replied. He nodded as he placed his hand on the right door and I did the same on the left door and called out "open sesemi!"
After I spoke these words, the doors opened to reveal a large staircase to a golden door, but before the staircase was a giant golem, standing guard. The second in command took out his sword and bellowed "you go to the treasure room, I'll take care of this beast"
"But you're gonna die!" I replied
"Then it will all be in the honor of the Kou empire. Now go and retrieve that metal vessel for Ko"
I gulped loudly and took for a run, the golem noticed my movements and took one heavy step after another, it reached down and tried to grab me but before it could I dropped to the ground and slid under its grasp. The second in command started elbowing swear words I get the olems attention. Once the attention was no longer on me, I bolted towards the door.
As I reached for the door, I looked behind me noticing the second in command about to die. I gripped the hilt of my sword, unsure of what I was to do. Then I heard a soft male voice echoe in my head "what will you do?
I glared heavily and pulled the sword out of my sheath and bolted towards the golem, once I got to its feet I placed my sword back and climbed up its leg, nearly falling a few times. I then climbed to the right, holding on tightly as it tried to shake me off. On it's left chest was a bundle of vines like muscle protecting the heart. I raised my sword high and shoved it down and through the vines. The golem screeched in pain, until it crumbled to the ground. A blue orb now showing through the rubble.
I brushed off the dust and pulled a piece of my hair behind my ear and lifted the orb. The second in command was red with fury "I told you to go to the treasure room, but you couldn't handle a simple order!"
I scoffed and rolled my eyes "you're welcome"
He continued to litter me with more screaming all the way up the steps about how I could have damaged my skin. Rolling my eyes I placed the orb in the circle indent unnoticed earlier and the door opened wide. "Plus, its heart was the key inside"
Once inside we noticed many different treasures, but they were all dusted and looked warm with age. "What kind of treasure is this! These look more like paper weights!"
"Patients" I spoke. I rolled my eyes once more and continued walking around, looking to see if I could find anything with the eight pointed star on it. Soon I found a small urn in the middle of the room sitting on a boulder with the right pointed star on it.
Happy with myself I lightly touched the urn. And soon it began to light up. Soon a blue being that was ten feet tall stood before me. He swore an Indian leg dress like myself but his chest was bare. On his arms there were small rocks imbedded into his skin, some gems attached to the rocks. His eyes were as blue as sapphire, with a couple more boulders seeping into his jawline.
He smiled happily and raised his arms "I am Rajja the earth gym of this dungeon! My champions have arrived. I've been watching you all so closely. Now tell me, what do you wish to do with me if I choose you?"
The second in command placed a fist over his heart "I will give the metal vessel to my lord general Ko, :so that he may crush armies"
He waved him off "boooorrrriiing. What about you little lady?"
"Hers is the sa-" the second in command went to say.
"Ah ah, I asked her, not you" the djin interrupted.
I gulped loudly then stood firm my chin raised high and replied "my kingdom has gone into a turmoil with the Kou empire infiltrating its midst. I wish to conquer this dungeon so that I may gain a metal vessel and with the help of your power bring my kingdom back to its former glory. And ensure we don't fall to a waste. And ensure my hand does not become married to the general"
The djin's smile was warm, but the second in command bellowed with rage "traitor! You are nothing but a conniving little wench, a snake in our garden. How dare you dishonor your husband to be!" He pointed his sword at me.
I slowly looked up at him and raised mine to his "how dare I? How dare I!? I would rather marry a cow then marry that fool. I would never give him the right to our armies, and lose my rights to speak at all and sit idly by while he reads my kingdom apart! I have every right to chose who my fate resides in!"
"My my this is interesting" the djin retorted.
"traightor you shall die!" He flung at me with his sword.
I dogged his attack swiftly and continued stabbing at his sides with my swords repeatedly saying "you're open" until he grabbed his sides heaving heavily gasping for air. Blood soaking his clothing. While a single cut did not appear on my skin.
"Your swordsmanship is sloppy, in appalled to think you lead such armies" I spat.
The second in command bellowed once more and ran to me, but tripped over a rock and fell over hitting his head. I stood there as he lay dead, his blood soaking the grey tiled floor.
I walked up in front of the djin, rajja smiled and then said "you are a worthy master to behold me as your metal vessel. You stood your ground, staying sturdy as the rocks of this earth. Take what you would like if my treasures. Before we leave"
"But I can't Carry all of this!" I replied confused.
Rajja chuckled and picked up a bag from the back corner of the room and handed it to me "this bag is enchanted. You can put as many things inside and it'll never get full, and forever stay light. Hurry now we don't have much time."
I nodded and ran around placing as many gold coins inside the bag. This is what I would need to get me to sindria. Once I gathered all the gold and treasures I desired. I stood on the platform with the djin. He nodded and placed his hand on the blade of my sword and soon dissapeared, and there instead was the eight pointed star.
What happened next was a blur of many colors, until I was greeted with the sunlight outside. I raised my hands up high and screamed loudly in excitement. I didit! I conquered the dungeon!
