It was Christmas Eve night and the house was quiet. I sat in Victor's room on the bed. He had told me to wait; he had something to show me.

I glanced around patiently, playing with the hems of sweatpants at the ankles. Feet pattered up the hallway. The door open. Victor skid in, eyes bright with excitement.

"Merry Christmas~!" he said happily as he posed.

I stared at him in surprise. He stood in the doorway in a Santa suit. I blinked for a second before smiling.

"You're missing the beard," I told him with a light laugh.

He grinned and snickered. "I doubt I'd look good with one." He twirled on his heels and fell back beside me. His arm slung over my thighs as he rolled onto his side. "Yuri," he breathed. "Do you like me?"

I blushed and lay down on my back like he was. The question lingered in the air a second. "Yeah," I replied after a while.

Victor propped himself up on an elbow. He scanned my face doubtfully. "You hesitated."

I looked up to his face. His cheeks were tinted pink. I smiled as I thought back to an hour earlier. My mother and father had held a Christmas party for the family. Victor had had a few cups of wine (more like eight).

I nodded once. "I like you," I told him.

He smiled and lay back down. His arm moved up to my tummy. "I like you too." He paused. "Actually, I love you."

My heart skipped a beat. "I love you too. . ."

He frowned a little. "I mean it." His cheek rested on my shoulder. "That banquet at last years Grand Prix Final changed my looks on you." He laughed softly. "Your eros was strong that night."

I flushed and scooted away. "Be quiet."

He smirked. His palm grazed my belly. "I'd like to see your true eros again, Yuri."

I stared at him in shock, then realized he was messing around. I snickered and stood, shaking my head. "You're funny, Victor." I stepped up to the closet and pulled the accordion doors open. "I think it's time you get some sleep. You drank a lot earlier."

He watched as I pulled a baby blue t-shirt off its hook. I tossed it beside him and drifted to the dresser. He pouted.

"I wasn't trying to be funny, Yuri," he murmured.

I smiled to myself and nodded. "Mm-hmm."

It was quiet a second as I skimmed his drawers for some sleeping pants. The bed creaked. A pair of arms wrapped loosely around my neck. Victor pulled me back against his chest. Heat flooded to my face as his lips pressed to my ear.

"Yuri~," he cooed softly.

I shivered, causing him to chuckle. His fingers slipped around my waist to my tummy.

"I'm not joking~."

He swayed slightly, and I prayed it was just the alcohol. But deep down I knew it wasn't. He slid his hands into my front pockets.

"Don't make this costume go to waste." He smiled against my skin. "Don't you want to sit on my lap?"

My pulse quickened and my eyes widened. I pulled away quickly. There was a mischievous smirk on his face when I turned. Our eyes locked.
