• Levi X Scared Reader - Part 2 •

 

               They Laugh At Me

Those words hit Levi like a fucking freight train straight into his chest.
He couldn't believe what he had just heard.
Levi stared at you in horror as he stumbled upon his words.
"B-Because it m-makes you-
Because it makes you feel better?!" Levi exclaimed in wavering voice as he sprung to his feet.
You glance up at him in shock. "Well..Yeah..." You replied in a quiet voice.
Levi gripped a handful of his short ebony locks in disbelief then lets go and begins to pace about your bedroom.

'Why...W-Why the fuck would she do such a dispicable thing to herself?..'

'I can't believe she would even have the audacity to hurt herself. S-She doesn't deserve this..This damned tormenting and critism. What the did she do?!'

'This...This is injustice! If there really is a god then why is he letting this happen to my baby!'

Thoughts rummage through Levi's mind as he frantically continues to pace. He flashes a few looks of concern back at your weak, helpless figure every chance he gets. It was physically killing Levi to see you so broken and battered..Scared and confused.
As Levi slowly contains himself from losing his cool, he then turns back towards you and scrambles over, sliding to his knees. "Oh (Y/N)..Come here please." Levi says as he envelops his arms around your tiny figure.
Salty tears begin to gather and cascades slowly down your cheeks. You begin to claw at your wrists as Levi holds you close to his musculine chest. He hears the sickening sound of your skin peeling off and he quickly pulls away, looking down at your now, bloody wrist.
"(Y/N), stop it right now." He orders in a stern voice, looking into your teary eyes.
Levi bits his lower lip as he bows his head, taking a hold of your arm and gently caressing the scars with his fingers. Everything was quiet until you heard a small sniffle coming from the man. Your eyes widen when you see two tiny droplets fall onto your soft skin.

Levi Ackerman, the strongest soldier in humanity was crying. Crying for you. It wasn't like him to act this way but..In truth...He really did care about you. Just because he doesn't show emotion doesn't mean that...He isn't hurting inside. Levi's a human..Just like everyone else.

Levi then jerks his head up and cups your face. Tears pouring from his icy blue orbs as he looks at you.
"Why...W-Why...What the actual fuck gives you the fucking right to hurt yourself like this (Y/N)?!" He whispers.
"L-Levi..."
"Be quiet baby..J-Just..." Levi then throws himself on you, holding you in a death hug, sobbing into your hair.
Eyes widen as you hear Levi's heartwreching sobs and pleads. You slowly wrap your arms around him, patting and rubbing his back in comfort.
This isn't what you wanted. You never wanted Levi to cry in front of you. You never even wanted Levi to find out about your wounds. But..It was a good thing he did find out, because if it wasn't delt with, then it would've just made the sitation worse than it already was.
The evidence of Levi sheading tears for you, just proves that he sure as hell cares about you. No matter what the flaws.

(Timeskip- Corporal's office)

"Let me see your arm please." Levi orders in a gentle manner. You hesitate at first, slowly moving your trembling scarred wrist towards him.
Levi takes a hold of your arm and begins to clean the wounds with a piece of cotton and a hint of alcohol. You slight wince at the pain.

"Easy darling..it will be over in a moment, just hold still." Levi encourages as he holds your left arm with his gloved hand, proceeding to clean the blood. Levi slowly observes the scars as he does this.
As the pain subsides, you relax your body.

"Good girl.." Levi states as he finishes up. He then tosses the cotton ball into a nearby trash can and walks over to one of the cabinets.

Alcohol, cotton balls, bandages, gauze, anything that could be used in a nurse's office or infirmary was all lined up perfectly inside.
Levi grabs the tape and gauze, then strides back over to your sitting figure that was set on the bed.

He then proceeds back to bandaging your wrist. After, you both sit in silence with Levi knelt in front of you, his head bowed as he runs his fingers through his hair, sighing.

You felt so guilty for hurting yourself..When you knew damn well that Levi wouldn't allow it. You brace yourself to be snapped for doing something so stupid and could have nearly killed you.
Instead, you feel yourself being pulled into a set of strong arms and you squeal in surprise.

"L-Lev-

"Shh..Don't talk. Don't say anything. Don't think of anything. Focus only one me, and only me. Listen to the sound of my voice (Y/N)." Levi says as he climbs onto the bed, grabbing a hold of your cheek and looks deep into your scared eyes. His eyes quiver sadly.
"(Y/N), listen to me please..
I know what you're going through, I know that you're scared to death. I know you've been losing sleep over this fucking shit. Hearing the taunting voices of the shadows that haunt you every single damn night. They laugh at you...Don't they?"

Your eyes widen in shock. Unable to find your words.
Levi pulls you into a tight embrace, stroking small circles on your back.

"It's okay..You don't have to say anything. I'm here now, it's okay. I will do everything in my power to help you stop hearing those horrible demons because I love you (Y/N), I love you so much and it fucking kills me to see you so scared and battered." Levi continues, hissing at the end of his sentence with a mixture of anger and sorrow. You then hold onto him in a death hug, tears of joy streams down your cheeks.

"Levi..T-Thank you...Thank y-you so much!" You sob happily.

Levi's smile widens and he plants a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Anything for you..My sweet brat..."

Those demons still laugh at you. No matter what Levi did..They never leave you...They were stuck with you, for all eternity. The taunting souls of three young girls who comitted suicide after feeling guilty for hurting you...
