Alexandria P.O.V ;
"Can I ask you something very important Carson...?" I asked my bestfriend Carson, we've known eachother since we were in 3rd grade because i threw rocks at him and we both were sent to the office and somehow that was the beginning of our friendship.
"Uh sure" he said
"Why the hell is school necessary? I hate being a sophomore!" I whined while he just laughed
"Well without school, we would become stupid. And if we're stupid then we cannot get a good job and without a job then we will have no money and no money means that we cannot buy food." He laughed
"Well shit. Nevermind. I love school!" I exclaimed with fake enthusiasm
*ring*

"Lex. Get home soon"
Ugh. I mentally rolled my eyes
To: Momma Bear <3
"Okay. I'm leaving Carsons"
"Was that your mom?" Carson asked
"Yeah, I gotta start heading home now" I said kind of sadly
"Well bye Ria" He walked me out and gave me a hug.
Today felt kind of different. He seemed more distant and he seemed as if he had something on his mind and wanted me out of his hair. Strange.
Next Day
Ugh. School.
While walking to starbucks to wait for Carson, I fixed my outfit..I'm wearing a grey sweatshirt that says 'NYC' and my light washed jeans.
I arrived at starbucks and saw that Carson wasn't here today...huh weird, he always gets here first. Oh well, I'll just order something and wait for him. I walked up to the cashier and ordered my regular strawberry black tea (sweetened) with 3 pumps of raspberries.
10 minutes have passed and he still didn't show up. I guess i'll just start walking to school before i become late.
At school
"Why do you even hang out with her? She's so weird" A high pitched voice whined
"I don't even know. She's a burden to me" A familiar voice says as if hes unsure
What the heck...
I walk around the corner and see Amber with Carson and Amber is suffocating the air from him.
"A burden?" I whisper
My eyes start tearing up and then just as i'm about to walk away, I hear Ambers 'minions' laugh and start yelling
"Oh my god! Haha Is poor Alex crying? You know he doesn't like you! He never did!" Gigi exclaims in her high pitched voice
Carson turns his head towards me and his eyes fill up with guilt as soon as he looks at me.
"Go away Alex, I finally saved Carson from you" Amber smirks while Carson doesn't say anything.
I start running out of school and I sprint towards home and start crying.
