What's left for humanity?
We're drowning in air
As if unaware
That we can't drink our own tears
When the water's all been painted
Black and brown
And we're so drunk on pollution
That there's no chance we'll make it out alive,
Because we're falling over our own feet,
Trying to come to arms against something
We don't even know how to fight:
Our own greed,
And it's digging us ever deeper
Into this dried up sinkhole,
And there's no way out
Because we refuse to believe
That it's possible to drown in air.
