"Love is an open door", they said.
But never said that it'll be this difficult to open.
I knocked it hard yet you couldn't hear!
I stomped my feet with my eyes stung with tears,
Praying to heavens hoping you to hear.
When I turn back deciding to leave with a heavy heart, you open the door sniffing your nose with your eyes deep red
In your stunning aura catching me off guard from retreating.
I stammer and stammer until I fidget with my own decision and reckon your reaction.
Without much more deliberations,
I decide against my brain.
Am defeated in this the war waged against my heart,
Bend on my knees and stretch to you a long stemmed rose.
Your startle sends cold shivers all over me.
Yet I stretch a satin box with a ring
I fumble with my words and though I couldn't stand to your beauty,
Blurt out those three beautiful words which I never reckoned of saying.
Since, you take my breath away!
