Tre knew I wasn't no fucking thug. He knew I wasn't into no gang type shit. But did he listen? Fuck no! But that's a nigga for ya.
So there we were. Sitting in front his homeboy house in a black Tahoe. No matter how many times he ran the plan down to me, I was still shook. Peep this though. I'm not a pussy ass female. But my ass IS scared to go to jail. I'm too pretty for the shit!
But anyways, Tre hop out the truck an I'm like 'here we go'. He ran up the front steps an kicks the door in. I could hear niggas on the inside scrambling, tryna get to their weapons. I walk in behind him and pull the .45 I had tucked into my Levi skinny jeans. It had about five dudes in the room including Zaire, Tre's homeboy.
"Shay!" Tre called me to his side.
The blood rushed to my head and I could hear my heart pound in my chest. I could feel time slow. I counted down from five in my head.
Five...breathe in. Four...breathe out. Three...breathe in. Two...breathe out. One...breathe in.
Time speed back up. I put the .45 to the back of Tre's head. He tensed up. He tried to turn around but I pushed the gun further into him.
"Shay. Fuck is you doing?"
"Don't say shit!"
I couldn't process my thoughts. I lost concentration. What the fuck was I doing? It only took a second. Tre turned and knocked the gun out my hand. A shot rang out. 'Shit!' I thought to myself. I ducked behind a couch. I couldn't believe what I had gotten myself into. Zaire would kill me for blowing this job! 'It don't matter' I said talking to myself.
I could hear scuffling and more gunshots. A bullet pierced the couch and grazed my thigh. 'Fuck!' I had to get out of there. No. I had to get to the money. $100,000 in small bills in a duffel bag. Where was it? I peeped from around the couch. I saw it beside the coffee table. I was so busy hiding that I hadn't noticed how many bodies had dropped. I scanned them. Neither one was Tre or Zaire. As a matter of fact, they weren't in the room at all.
I heard yet another shot. I jumped. It was so close. Before I could get to the bag, Tre walked in from the kitchen. Drenched in blood and clothes tattered. He went to the bag and grabbed it. He walked over to me and snatched me up by the hair.
"Tsk tsk tsk" he threw me down on the same couch I hid behind.
"Please Tre! I didn't have a choice!" He pointed the gun at me.
"We all have choices. And you chose to be a snitch." He pulled the trigger.
My final thought was 'how did he know?'
