I waited until night had fallen before I stuck my head out of my room and listen for any sounds throughout the house. With my wolf hearing I heard only the soft snores coming from the rooms around me. I knew that they were all asleep so I quietly closed my door and grabbed my little bag of belongings as I made my way to the window. It was a two story drop so I knew I would break something with my weak state but i knew it was my only shot. So I threw my bag out and pulled myself up onto the window sill and readied myself.

I flipped out and grasped the sill with both hands, letting myself hang there. Then when I got up the courage I dropped landing on my feet but instantly feeling pain in my right ankle I fell flat on my back. I couldn't waste time so I scrambled up ignoring the pain in my ankle and grabbed my bag making and break for the woods. Once I reached the woods I tried to shift.

Since I had not shifted in a long time it hurt almost like my first time. I suppressed the screams that tried to break through. Once I was on all fours I grabbed my bag in my mouth and started running in the opposite direction of the pack.

~

I ran for hours wanting to get as much distance between me and them as possible before morning as I could. I didn't no if they would not come after me or not but I wasn't taking the risk. So I kept running and running. My ankle was aching with every step I took. My stomach wouldn't stop growling, but that was nothing new. The injuries I received from all the earlier abuse from the pack.

I decided to take a break when I came upon a quaint looking little lake. Laying down I placed my head on my legs and slowly I felt my eyelids become heavy and soon I fell a dreamless sleep.

         *SNAP*

I heard the snapping sounds of twigs being broken and I quickly jumped up on high alert. Spinning in circles I looked for the culprits of the sound but I was met with only the darkness of the night. Then out of no where I received a bone crushing hit to the side. I was rolled to my back and meet with the snarling jaws of a dark brown wolf. He was scruffy looking and had wild look to him so I knew he was a rogue.

I kicked him off only sending him far enough to get up and start running. I weaved in and out of trees going faster than I thought I ever could. The trees and bushes we're flying by fast as I started to run out of them I notice a clearing a head so I kept pushing it. I raced into the clearing and crouched down in a small bush that I knew would hide me well enough.

The rogue finally approached the clearing and stopped sniffing and looking around. I had no idea that he had really been that far behind me. I stayed as silent as possible as he circled the clearing, his nose to the ground trying to sniff me out. As he came closer I started to panic thinking he had found me. Then I noticed his anger wasn't directed at me bit behind me. The only thing I could think of was another rouge was behind me who had in fact found me. But as I saw the rogue crouch down growling with sliva dripping from his mouth I knew he was waiting for an attack. I turned my head to the side enough to make out the feet on my left side. It was definitely not one wolf. Maybe in the heat of the chase we had crossed into a packs boundary but I really couldn't tell you anything about the pack boundaries really.

Once I saw them leap at each other I knew one rogue had no chance against pack wolves. Especially if they we're a ok me of the ranked wolves of the pack. They brutally ripped the rogue to shreds freaking me out of course. So I obviously they were not a gentle pack that I could get away from. By even their wolves stern looks I knew they were not to be messed with.

"you in the bushes show yourself now or we will kill you there." Said one of the pack me members that had shifted to his human form and was now completely naked. He was definitely either a beta or third from the power I felt that was emitted from him. As I stepped out I took in his appearance. He was talk at least six foot, brown hair and brown eyes. His lips were in a frown. Obviously he would be in a fowl mood having to go after rouges in the early morning.

He stepped up to be and I flinched back fearing the worst. For once that night I had realized I was standing in deep snow. Which only added to my original shaking. "Shift" he yelled

And he took a step towards me and I took one back. We repeated this action multiple times with him yelling shift between the steps when my but hit a tree I was stopped. They circled me leave no room for escape.

My fear became worse to the point were I all most couldn't breathe. I was to tried to shift so I whimpered and laid down from exhaustion. I kept whimpering until one of the others realized I was no threat and shifted to reveal a girl about my age. She walked over to the man and pulled him aside. Telling him I was no threat and just tired, scared, and in pain.

The man then came to sit by me and said his name was Blake and he was the beta of the Black Knight pack. With those to words my fear sky rocketed. The Black Knight pack was the most feared and dangerous pack in the country. I wanted to be no where near them. I jumped up attempting to run but got nowhere because I just fell right down from the pain in my ankle. When Blake noticed how skinny and tired I was I heard him get up and start to tell out orders.

Before I blacked out from exhibit and pain I only hear on sentence.

"Bring her to the Alpha."
