Shaun sat in jail. Turns out John couldn't bail him out because how severe the crime was.

"Shaun." Said a police officer

" yes."

" your charges have been dropped."

Shaun walked out to see Amy.

"Are you going to need a ride." She asked.

"Yeah probably." He said.

"Well come on then"

Shaun followed her out to her car.

"Does your husband know about this"

"He knows I'm bailing you out. But not that in giving you a ride."

" why are you giving me a ride anyways?"

"We need to talk Shaun."

"About Evelyn."

"Okay what about her."

"I want full custody of her."

Shaun sat in silence the rest of the ride until he reached his home.

"Why?" He asked

"Because you're affecting our daughter." She replied.

They both sat in silence. Suddenly Amy was shocked when he kissed her. It wasn't forceful. It was a loving kiss. And she kissed back with the same amount of passion.

"I'm married,I shouldn't have done that."

"Just leave him. I can change."

Amy looked at him with teary eyes. "I gave you eight years to change Shaun."

"But I can. I will change this time . I promise."

"Shaun I do want you to change. But not for me. I want you to change for Evelyn."

"But I can change for you, Amy. I love you."

Amy sat there in silence. (again lol)

"Amy?" Shaun said looking at her.

"There was a time when I used to love you Shaun. But I don't love you anymore."

Tears ran down Shaun's face.

"But there is someone who loves you Shaun."

Shaun sat staring out the window of the car.

"Evelyn loves you Shaun. She deserves a sober father. Please if you're going to change for anyone, do it for her."

Shaun opened the car door. " see you around."

He walked into his house and went to his room and layer on his bed. He started thinking. "Please if you're going to change for anyone do it for her."

And in that moment he realized he was going to do it. Not for Amy or him but for Evelyn.
