Death Note Fanfic

Prolog

Sera was a name by no other, but it was fake. You see she was abandoned at one month old without a name. That same day the first Death Note fell. It fell in a rather odd place as well. Right on Sera's head! When she shinigami named Rez, Rem's older brother, appeared he was astonished on what had befallen him!

"So I got stuck with a baby, great." Rez said sarcastically. "Alright now, let's see when you'll die and what your name is so I can re-drop this in a couple years."

He tried to look at her name and death date, but nothing came up no matter how many times and how hard he tried.

"Great, no name AND no death date. This is going to be an interesting time, but why is her hair blue?" he said to himself while picking up the girl. "So what to name you?"

He thought for a moment and then had it.

"I'll call you Sera." Rez said and held her up like Simba from The Lion King. "Now to find a place to live."

Turning into his human form he found an apartment and rented it under the name Rez Duzell with his daughter Sera Duzell.

As Sera got older she became more attached to Rez as a father and best friend while Rez started to become soft. It turned out she was a super-genius and didn't really need to go to school. She only went to 1st grade before she was sent to college and earned her masters degree. She was even in the news papers and media as "Worlds New Super-Genius Prodigy Only 10 Years Old!" Rez was proud to raise her and when she turned 11 he offered her the Death Note and told her he was a shinigami, but she didn't want it. After a while she didn't want to stay cooped up inside so she decided to go outside on a trip to somewhere new. What she witnessed she didn't want to remember.

At only 13 years old her eyes were opened to the cruelty of the world, so she decided to do something about it. She took the Death Note from Rez and started doing the unspeakable. She randomly killed criminals with different deaths that would be natural and set it so they would always die at a certain time and date according to their crime. The one she had the most fun with was a teacher caught abusing and trying to kill one of his students. She gave him leukemia that lasted for 3 months and he died on June 19th at 3:48pm, the same time he was sent to prison. She uses the month and the date of their crime to determine the amount of time they would suffer. (If you want to know he was accused of the crime on March 19th at 3:48pm, so march is the 3rd month, so he died 3 months later on the same date at the seem time. So if someone was accused of a crime on November 28th at 3:28pm they would die on October 28th at 3:28pm if that makes sense.) Everyone thought it was natural, so she was never caught, until Kira showed up.

Dun dun dunn! Cliff hanger. Hope none of y'all hate me too much. So shout out to FuckingAuthor for making me feel better today. This person (not the shout outed person, someone else) really needs to just go DIE IN A BLAYD-ING HOLE! He's a serious dush and is dead to me right now. Oh yeah, blyad is Russian and if you want to know what it means use google translate. So I hope to see you guys in the next chapter, bye! ^.^
