Glowing eyes

I layed in the darkness. My eyes were closed as I tried to drift off to sleep. I then heard the door open. I pretended to be asleep because I thought it probably was my parents. I heard the door close after about 5 seconds. I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling. At that very moment I saw something glowing that was hovering over me. It had large jaws and sharp teeth. It's neck was stretched like a giraffes. It's eyes were glowing red. I blinked in shock, and it was gone. I heard the door open and close as fast as lightening. 20 seconds later the door gently opened again. My parents walked in the room. "Why are you making so much noise?" They asked. I sat still in my bed, my jaw on the floor. My throat was dry and I was scared out of my mind. I was about to answer, when out of the corner of my eyes I saw something floating in the hallway. I drifted my eyes to the hallway, and saw the glowing things red eyes, staring at me.
