It's In Reverse

Oh you're religious?

Better keep my mouth shut and listen to what you say.

She's Christian, watch your tongue.

Those people don't swear, those people don't do wrong.

She hates them all; The ones who love who they want to love because gender isn't their judge.

A sarcastic remark in every corner just because I believe in a so called God.

Listen to yourselves, preaching hate; believing misconceptions of our fate.

Let's get something straight and let's understand now,

I believe in the power of a mighty God, and it's not just one vow.

You teach not to discriminate, not to judge, those of a different race gender or club.

You fought for womans' rights and the movement to love,

Yet you push all the Christians in the corner 'cause they think they're above?

Those are just some of them and they will truly fall.

Because my savior doesn't teach that at all.

Let's make this clear for once and for all,

We're all sinners, all on the same spinning ball.

Though the word of our God has verses about this and that, the main point is in white and black.

"Love all. Respect all. Be kind to all."

It's as simple as that.

And if you can't understand and live that, you're in the wrong place to be at.

Our world is corrupt, filled with sinners and dreamers looking above,

Waiting for something to happen, waiting to be loved.

And in short, that's all our God is about,

Forgiving and loving us all without a pout.

And yet you have the audacity, you woeful Christians, to claim you're better than everbody else?

What would God say if he were at your house?

Saving you from your sins and yet you're still in doubt!

For our Lord hung out with prostitutes and Lepers,

And yet you can't accept those who leave the decision of their sexual orientation to themselves?

Let's point out your sins.

Look at yourselves.

Some self righteous people you are.

I think you need to look at the pain and the trauma you were in before.

I think it's better to have to call on our God,

Say I can't do this myself, I'm doing it all wrong!

Do me a favor, look back at that time.

Remember your sins, the person you used to be,

And how he changed you to be more like he.

That's what our God is about.

Changing people for the better.

And if you can't accept others, how can you really repent to Jesus himself?

I'm not saying being gay is right or wrong.

I don't support it, but I'm not against it.

It's been like that all along.

For you'll  talk to The Father on your day of judgment.

And that's between you and the one above.

And as for me, right here, right now,

I'm going to do what my God taught me:

Be respectful and love.

Because that's really what it's all about.
