Behind closed doors, where no one will know
The pain and suffering we each undergo
The tears and pain we try so hard to conceal
Will in its own form become revealed
We continue to hide each gash and wound we feel
Until somehow someway, the millions of tears can heal
Yet we fail to know that the heart takes the greatest impact
Taking every lash and hit that comes our way
But there is someone who can ease the pain
The Lord God Almighty is his name
Only he understands our tears
And comforts us in moments of fear
Jesus Christ is the only one we can call
Who won't reveal secrets or expose our faults
Never is he far away,
Simply go on your knees to him and pray
God will take control and remove the pain
I assure that you're tears will no longer fall in vain
Trust in God and keep your faith
For only God has the strength to get us through the day.
