*flashback*
I awoke with a foggy mind hearing screams of terror and pain my brother was still asleep right next to me. At least I had thought he was I run outside of our den to see something that was terrible even worse than any nightmare I had ever had because the war that had went on for centuries around my clan have spread into my beloved clan I run trying to find a person from my clan that hadn't failed to survive. But alas to my terror I couldn't find a single soul. A soldier in a bloody suit grabs me by my hair and holds me up and yells "what do we do with this pathetic display?" "Just let the runt die on its own" another replies. The man throws me down as I run back to the nursery den. I sit and wait quietly as all the soldiers leave. Then shake my dear brother trying to wake him up. I turned him onto his back and realized hr was gone too.
*present time*
I now just run as far as I can go to get away from the camp and far away from the men that killed my nakamas. I can't fight them till I'm strong. As I'm running I bump into another kid. He looks scared of something. All the sudden he whispers "your not gonna tell the soldiers I'm here are you." In which I reply "as long as you don't tell them I'm here". He sighs in relief and tells me that the soldiers want to kill him for helping the innocent get away from them. I hug him and tell him why I have to run... We sit in silence for a while before he asks " why don't we stay together. It will make it harder for them to get us and we can train together!'' And that was the beginning of a brand new friendship!
