"Look what you done started..."

Come Friday night, I was done with the week. I didn't want anything to do with school or blueprints or models. Luckily, I was off all weekend from the cafe as well, so it was going to be an entire weekend of relaxing and rejuvenating before next week started and I would have to face reality of deadlines and all that other bullshit.

Needless to say, when I came home and found my apartment full of Kam, Harry, Niall, our friend Tasha, and Liam, I was not a happy person. I wanted a free night- one without having to deal with Niall drooling all over me.

As I turned to kick my shoes off by the door, I dramatically rolled my eyes and silently screamed at Kam for being so idiotic to invite him here. I didn't need this today- I smelled like burning foam and melted glue. I wanted a shower and a pizza and Gilmore Girls reruns. I did not want my apartment filled with the idiots that I surrounded myself with.

Despite the hateful thoughts that ran through my head, I turned around and put a semi-smile on my face as I faced the group. The first person I laid my eyes on was, of course, Harry. His presence seemed to dominate the room like he has the past two times I have been in a room with him.

"Tara." He was the first to confront me out of the group, the rest of them continuing their conversation that they were having before I arrived. My eyebrows raised in recognition to him. At the sound of my name though, Niall turned around from his seat in our recliner, a bright smile taking over his features.

I waved lightly at them as Niall waved me over, patting on his lap for me to take a seat. Jesus Christ.  I ignored that invitation and dragged a chair from our kitchen to the living room to take a seat, seeing as there weren't any other seats.

Harry, Kam, and Liam took over the couch, Kam completely leaning on Harry's shoulder as he awkwardly leaned further to the opposite side. I stifled a laugh as he gave me a pleading stare when I noticed. Tasha was seated in our old rocking chair that my mom had given me when I moved in this place and Niall, as I said before was in our recliner. Since I didn't want to provoke the poor boy, the kitchen chair was my best option. I pretended I didn't see the dejected look on Ni's face, though, it would help me sleep better at night.

"What's up guys?" I asked, crossing my legs and leaning back into my chair. Kam finally sat up to the edge of the couch, not-so-subtly trying to fix her shirt.

"Oh, we're just planning what we're gonna do for tonight. Right now it's looking like we're going to a club. You should totally join us, Tar!" Her over enthusiasm made me slightly cringe. Yes, I loved my roommate but her voice tended to go up about eight octaves at times and I had the incessant desire to plug my ears.

"Eh, I don't think I will." I heard groans come from everyone while Harry sat with an amused smile as if he was about to say something really kinky or was having some sort of sexual thought. (Which, to be honest, he probably was.)

"C'mon, Tar. What're you gonna do, stay in all night again?" It was Niall who asked, and it was a perfectly fine question, but the tone in his voice said more than his words and the little laugh he gave afterward made me want to smack him. Snarky. He was being snarky with me. Bitch.

"Not that its any of your business, but yeah I was. Better than going out and getting shit-faced to where you can't remember anything the next day." Yes, the bitch was coming out.

"I didn't mean it like that, babe. I just think you should come out and have some fun. Let off some steam." I could see Harry's eyes quirk up at the term 'babe', and it made me a little happy that he seemed a bit jealous...maybe...it looked like jealousy so that's how I was going to take it.
