***Emily's POV**
I didn't know where I was going but I just carried on walking. That was until I reached a pub. I went in and had a few pints. I was more than annoyed. I needed to get away from everyone. "Hey beautiful," A familiar voice said - Louis. "How you doin'?"
I shook my head. "Are you drunk?" I asked. He shook his head back at me, playfully.
"C'mon. Let's go. I need to talk to you." He ordered.
"Fine. You might need to carry me the though. I had a few drinks." I whispered.
"Okay." He said, giggling.
"But, why are you not annoyed?" He sounded concerned.
"Well, I can never stay mad at you for one. And, two, the drinks get stuff off my mind. Finally, three, you were right." I replied.
He sighed. "I'll talk to you when we get home. Not alone. Then nothing can happen."
My heart sunk. I enjoyed the kiss. He probably did too. He's probably trying to keep it in the 'Cool, Buds, Friends' Zone, so things can't get awkward, I guess.
I suddenly snapped out of my thoughts.
"Are we nearly there?" I whined.
He started with the playful talk, it obviously amusing him. "Why does it matter to you? You're not the one with a very heavy, most probably drunk girl on your back."
"Why do I even bother?" I wondered out loud.
"Yes, you did just say that out loud." Louis played again.
I fake-hit him but it backfired and actually whacked him in the lips.
"Oh my god, Louis, I'm sorry." I was so apologetic.
"It's fine, shall we see if they're still good to kiss with?" He flirted.
I giggled, I was drunk. "Sure." I said biting my lip.
"I was joking, but I should try that again sometime because I can easily fool drunk Emily." He said, chuckling.
When we arrived home, he led me into the empty living room. I didn't think about where the others were because I was obviously drunk.
"Okay, now, Harrison, listen up!" Louis commanded.
"Who's Harrison?" I giggled.
Louis whacked himself on the forehead.
"This is gonna be a long night..."

**Louis's POV**
I woke up on the sofa, with my arm tight around Emily. I smiled. I liked things like this. However, I knew I had told her that:
1) The kiss did really mean something
2) I wanted us to remain just friends
3) I will always and have always loved her more than a friend
4) We can't be together but we can try dating sometime
I don't know if Emily will remember that I told her that when she wakes up because she was drunk but it was worth a shot. I felt lucky just to have Emily, here, in my arms again, so I didn't move a muscle.
All this time I had been hiding my feelings for Emily, but soon, I can hopefully ask her out and show her what love feels like... to be kissed, to be held, to be loved, to be promised, to sometimes argue, to sometimes fight, to be friends, to be enemies and to be true to each other.
I just want to show Emily how much I love her.
Soon the time will come for me to make a move.
But now is way too soon.

The story is just starting. Nowhere near ending. The end of the chapter sort of sums up what I would like to say. Okay, so, basically, I wanna say that I am not being rude I just need to rant for about 2 lines. So sorry.
Okay, here goes:
This is my story, okay, sorry to be rude, but, Louis and Emily will not be together in this book for a long time yet, as I said, it is my story, I write it how I want. Thanks :) Short Rant Over.
