I Wish... (Jasper x reader)

The Begining

Beach City the place you call home. You may be wondering where you are and what you're doing. It's simple really. You were helping Connie move her stuff in. You want to know why? That's also simple. Their house was destroyed and they needed to stay at your place for awhile. They didn't seem willing to talk about how their house was destroyed so you let it be.
You carried the last of Connie's boxes up stairs. You ended up taking all the bigger and heavier boxes against her approval. Connie's parents were out of town for awhile any you had to take care of her. You were her babysitter after all. Her parents only trusted you with her because 1. You had a good paying job (not including the babysitting) 2. you have been taking care of Connie sense she was born.
You didn't mind having Connie move in. In fact, you were the one that suggested it. But the thing is Connie has been acting weird lately. She wouldn't make eye contact with you. She would only talk in a few sentences and always fake a smile. It was odd seeing her like this. She has been acting different ever sense she has been hanging out with this Steven boy. Before she would tell you random stories that she said she went on with the Crystal Gems. You loved the stories and every once in while you would actually believe they were real.
You set the box down walking back downstairs and flopping onto the couch. Connie sat next to you falling back with a tired expression. You looked at the time and jumped up.
"Shouldn't you be at you sword fighting lessons!" You looked back at her.
Her eyes went wide. Before you could say anything else she was running up the stairs. You soon followed running into your room and grabbing some workout clothes. You throw them on as quickly as possible. As soon as you opened your door Connie opened hers. She was wearing a black ninja suit thingy from what you could tell. You ran down the stairs and the child soon followed. You remember the directions from the stories to get to the temple. You passes Fry Guy sending him a smile as you passed. Now on the beach you soon made it to the temple.
