Scarlett's POV
I walked up to Adam and Bree with Leo after I saw his progress report, his science was terrible

"Hey Leo and Scarlett! What's that?" Bree asked noticing Leo's paper, I snickered

"His progress report" I said he rolled his eyes at me

"I can't believe my science teacher says I'm always late to class" Leo complained

"Leo I'm in the same class as you and you always walk in after the bell, like way after the bell" I commented he glared

"I know that but I don't need it publicized" he commented I sighed

Then Chase came running to us "Look at this!" He cried out to us, I sighed what is it now?

"An 'A-minus'! I knew my home EC teacher had it out for me, always criticizing my muffins" I rolled my eyes and handed him my progress report, his eyes glared into my paper, if he had laser eyes, my paper would be burned

"An 'A-plus' in every class?!" He complained I smiled goofy as I took it back

"Called years of baking and cooking, takes skills man" I bragged he rolled his eyes

"Ha ha! I beat you Chase! I got a 'D-plus'!"! Adam bragged, but not really bragging when your grade is lower than everyone else's " 'Plus' because I'm better!" I rolled my eyes at him

"Adam, the 'plus' is-- you know what? It's just not even worth it anymore" Bree wanted to explain but it's Adam, why explain?

"A 'D' is not a good grade, but we don't really expect you to get good grades" Chase said

"I'm engineered to be the smartest person on the planet, and I just got an 'A-minus'." Complained Chase I rolled my eyes

"Well, maybe baking is just not you thing, everyone has something but you, just, don't have baking" I said patting his shoulder, he glared at me, I removed my hand from his shoulder

"I've been relegated to the huddled, in washed masses of minuses, like you!" Chase said we all looked at him

"Well not Scarlett, she's better than me" he mumbled the last part, I took my phone of secretly and made it invisible in my hand and I so wanted to record this

"What was that?" I asked holding my hand to my ear

"I said your better than me, your smarter than I am Scarlett" he whined and I made my phone visible

"And now I've got a new ring tone, thanks Chase" I said setting it as my ringtone

"Send me that" Leo said I nodded

"Chase, I know this must be hard for you, but I mean, look at the bright side--seeing you fall flat on your face is really fun for us!" Bree said I giggled

"I have got to find a way to reclaim my superiority" Chase said

"Well you could sign up for the student of semester competition" Leo suggested

"What's that?" Chase questioned quickly

"Every semester, kid's compete to see who can beat improve the school. Whoever gets the most votes wins free pencils, a bumper sticker, and a cheesy picture of himself on the wall!" Leo said
