The true Christmas spirit

The spirit

Once there was a girl sleeping in her bed on the night of Christmas Eve. Silence was all around her not even a creek could be heard until ..... smash . She jolted awake from her sleep not expecting the loud noise. She tried to frantically look around her room but only darkness surrounded her effecting her eye sight . But there was nothing she went to lie back down to try and sleep but in the corner of her eye there was a light . She slowly turned around to face it . It was beautiful. There was only a gold  orb. But the most stunning thing she hade ever sore .  It flew out the window so fast she could barely see it move . She quickly trew on some shoes and a coat and bolted down the stairs but carefull not wake anyone . She was surprised to see it was still there  in the shimmering snow . Everything was silent for a few seconds just her and the orb . Until it dashed off  . She carelessly followed it . The beauty of it was so amazing she completely forgot where she was going in until she realised she was lost .     

She stopped running and looked back to see she was going in a forest and it looked like there was no life anywhere . Panic set in and she dashed out in a random direction. How could she be so foolish? She cried in her head . She stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a sound like a ........... a train . She soon realised she was right next to a train track . Maybe she thought she could get there attention . She ran too close to the train track and fell in the large ditch the train would soon tred . She tried her best to escape but all there was no hope . She could now see the train full speed in front of her and that is when she knew that this was the end . She looked at the side for the last time and saw that beautiful orb ant that would be the last thing she would ever see . The clock strokes midnight . Officially Christmas Day . When the train hit and that would be the last of Mindy lower .
