Breathing heavily, sweat falling slowly down his face, he slowly sat on one of the couches inside their practice room. It was one of those days when they practiced from dusk 'til dawn.

They had come back with their 2nd album and they wanted everything to be perfect. There should be no room for mistakes.

They were given a few minute break, just enough for them to catch their breaths and take a sip of water.

He heard his phone beeped. A text message.

'So if you saw a pretty girl after school, would you really just ignore her?' He smiled seeing her message. She must have seen one of those interviews his group had.

Aniyo, not unless if it was you. ' Neh~ it's true.' He typed a reply and sent it.

"Jungkook~ah, could you get me a bottle of water?" Yoongi asked him. He stood up and do as he was told.

There are times that he just hated being the youngest. But what can he do, Yoongi's being his lazy self again, slacking off on one of the couches.

He grabbed 2 bottles of water and handed one to his hyung. Taehyung playfully got the other bottled water he got for himself.

"Hyung!" he complained.

"Why do you always play favoritism? I'm your hyung too!" Taehyung retorted.

He just shook his head. He went back across the practice room to get another bottle.

"Jungkook~ah, get me one too," Jimin ordered. He grabbed a bottle.

"Hyung!" He tossed it to Jimin and the latter caught it. He may be the maknae but he was playful too.

While walking on his way back across the room, he heard his phone beeped once again. It must be her.

'Tss... So impenetrable!' He beamed at her reply. She knew him all too well.

He was about to type a message for her yet he received another one from her.

'That day, why did you approach me then?' He was rather shock by her message. Pabo. You should know the answer.

He opened his bottled water and drank from it. He was thinking what to reply. Knowing her, it must have taken a lot of courage to ask that. Why does she have to be so clueless though?

He smiled remembering that day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was one of those rare times that they were given time to themselves. For him, it was a day where he wanted to lay all day on his bed and rest. He still had classes the next day and endless practice of course.
He turned to the side as he heard his stomach grumbled. They had an early dinner, now he was left hungry.
He was with 2 of the members in their dorm, the 4 other members were either out with friends or for different scheduled activities.
"Hyung, want to grab some snacks?" He asked Hoseok. Hoseok was hanging by his room, playing with the dogs since he didn't want to be alone by his room as well.
"Let's go. Yoongi hyung is probably sleeping already anyway," Hoseok said.
They wore masks as they headed out of their dorm. There was a convenience store nearby.
Not many people were around and he was thankful no one recognized them. He grabbed his favorite snacks.
"I'll pay for these. Wait for me by the door," Hoseok commanded him. He nodded in approval.
As he was walking by the side of the convenience store, he saw a familiar figure. The girl was alone in the snack corner, head down. She was crying. He was curious.
He handed out his hanky. The girl looked up. Her! She bowed to him and shook her head as to decline.
"I don't bite. Just take it." He handed his hanky to her again, now, she took it shyly.
"Kamsahamnida." She bowed to him.
"Tough times huh?" She looked at him.
"Those happen a lot. We're in a situation in which that is inevitable. You've just got to be strong." He wasn't the type to mind other's business but she looked like she needed some cheering up.
"What's your name?" he asked her. He actually knew her already. She already caught his attention ever since she debuted with her group.
"Tzuyu. Chou Tzuyu," she said. They already met in several music shows but it would still be different if they were to be introduced officially.
"I'm Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook." He smiled at her.
"Jungkook~ah! Let's go!" Hoseok who was already by the door, about to go out, called out to him.
"Uhm.. I need to go." He looked at her. She was still very pretty despite those sad eyes. She just bowed to him as a reply.
"Have courage, be brave," he said as he smiled before he walked to the door.
"Tzuyu~ssi, fighting!" he managed to shout out to her before completely leaving the store.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

'Are you pretty?' He typed but he was having second thoughts on sending it. He wanted to be playful with his reply. But isn't this too rude?

"Let's resume the practice," the choreographer said. He was startled and accidentally pressed send. Aish! What did you do? She might misunderstand!

"Yah! Jungkook~ah! Back to your position," the choreographer yelled out to him. He breathed deeply and left his phone in the couch.

2 hours after the practice, they were dismissed and were about to get out for dinner. He immediately took his phone and checked for a reply. None.

He sighed. She must have really misunderstood. What have you done Jungkook?!

He called her but to no avail, he couldn't connect. He tried calling again.

"Yeoboseyo?" Thank you! She picked up!

"Tzuyu~yah, about the message," he tried to explain.

"Don't worry. I totally understand," she retorted. Sulking. She was sulking.

"Ani~ I didn't mean it like that." Silence. She didn't reply.

"You are pretty, no scratch that, you are very beautiful," he managed to say. The most beautiful I have ever laid my eyes on.

She was still silent on the other line.

"Jungkook~ah, let's go!" Jin who was by the door, obviously excited for dinner, called out to him. He nodded in reply.

"Have you had dinner?" he asked her while walking his way to where his members were.

"Neh~" He knew she was already fine now. He smiled.

"Need to hang up. We need to get some dinner," he managed to say.

"Neh~" she answered back.

"I'll call you back." He knew she nodded. He then hang the phone up, placed it in his pocket and ran his way to their van.
