It was the end of the massive explosion of the Ghost Bear HQ, Coleman and his lance watched the tragic death of Tyler. "It's over. It's all over. No more friends." Moped Coleman. "He was a good man." Said one of the Star Lancemates. "I know. He could've made it, without me." Said Coleman. "It doesn't work that way. You can't change the past." "I know that also. I just wish there was." Said Coleman. The lancemates all got back into their mechs and rendezvoused with a dropship. "I just- I just don't understand..." Stuttered Coleman. "Why him?" Asked Coleman. "He saved us. He sacrificed his life for us." Replied a Star Pilot. "I know, but, I have no one that knows me now." "You have us. We can be your new friends." Suggested the Star Pilot. Coleman smiles. "That can be a new start. What is your name, Pilot?" Asked Coleman. "Greg." "Huh. Hi, Greg!" Said Coleman, now happy. "Well, let's go home now." Said Greg. "Alright, let me tell the Dropship Pilot." Said Coleman, switching comms to speak to the pilot. "Hey, we're ready." "Alright, setting coordinates to main Star Headquarters in Witner." Replied the Dropship Pilot. "Let's go home." Said Coleman to himself.
