"I Have To Go"

Josh's POV

I'm awoken by a loud vibration on my beside table.

Why are vibrations so loud? Aren't they there so you phone won't make any noise?

I pick up my phone and unlock it, letting the bright light shine in my eyes.

I look over to allie who is, fortunately, still asleep.

I slowly get out of bed and feel my phone go off again. I look down at my phone and see its a call. From Mark.

"Why is he calling me at this time of the night?" I mutter as I walk out of the bed room.

I click on the green button and put the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" I ask.

"Hi josh." Mark says through the phone.

"Hi, um, may I ask why you're calling me at 2:30 in the morning?" I ask

"Well...wekindahavetogotogermanyforameetingsoyouneedtopackyourstuff"
"What!?"

"We also have to go to L.A." Mark says slowly this time.

"Mark!" I whisper yell

"I'm sorry, im not sure why it's in Germany, they won't tell me, they just want you guys and the crew there."

I sigh and continue my talk with Mark. He tells me our flight is at seven and I need to pack.

"Okay, thanks Mark. I'll start packing." I sigh again and say bye to Mark.

I walk back into the bedroom and see a sleeping Allie.

I have to tell her.

"Hey Allie." I whisper. She slightly moves. "Allie." I say a bit louder and she groans.

I walk over to her side of the bed and kneel down to where our faces are across from each other's.

"Allie. I have to go to Germany."

Her eyes open wide and she sits up. "What!?"

"I have a meeting. I just got off the phone with Mark. I didn't know."

"How long will you he gone?" She asks as she pulls me onto the bed.

"Two weeks." I say, holding her hand in mine.

"Oh." She says, not looking at me.

"Im sorry Allie."

She turns to me and gives me a sad smile. "Its okay. It's your duty. Your job. It's okay."

I smile a sad smile and hug her. "Can you help me pack?"

"Yes."

For the rest of the night we pack and talk about random things, like what it would be like if we hadn't met.

But I know that wouldn't have happened.

The butterfly effect can suck a tree.

I love her.
