School. The one thing I didn't think I would need to go through again. It's over now but, man, have times changed. Well then, I want to take a nap. But, it doesn't seem like I'll get a nap at this rate. Because what I'm looking at right now...dealing with this issue could take up some of my precious time.

It seems that a fight broke out between a couple. Now, they've taken the fight to the roof of the school. Oh, young love. It can bite you in the jimmies, sometimes. The guy looks to be pulling out a knife, that appears to already have blood on it. I think this guy needs some help. I say this because the girl doesn't appear to have any sign of injury. As I suspect, there seems to blood going down his arm. It slowly swims down to his hand, the same one hold onto the knife. The girl looks really scared. What is she thinking? What's stopping her from running?

Pain.

Misfortune.

Delusion.

Love.

Passion.

Hatred.

This is what I'm gathering from both of their thoughts. It's very clear to me that, while at first having feelings for each other, they struggle to keep those happy and cheerful feelings alive. The bottom line is that they weren't meant for each other. It seems like that's every relationship nowadays. Well, at least for us fairly young kiddies.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be a carcass here if I don't stop this now. "Hey!" I shout from the doorway. "Why do you think it's okay to be carrying a knife on school grounds?" He looks at me, surprised at my sudden appearance. Oh boy, I wonder what this guy's social tactics are going be like!

"Well, gee!" He says, loud enough so I can hear. "It's you! You're the reason I'm standing here! You're also the reason, as to why my girl is just mere seconds away from being decimated by my knife!"

From what I can see, through his big ol' cranium, this guy seems have a history with girls. He also goes by the name, Lance. This is the first time that Lance wasn't the one to break up the connection. Rather, this time, it was broken by an outside source. But why would he be pointing fingers at me? I'm just doing my job.

Lance decides to approach me and take a swing at me with his, oh so pointy, knife. (Which, at a closer point of view, looks to be one half of a pair of scissors.) As he walks with his aggressiveness and supposed swagger, the girl exhales as a sigh of relief. I know that girl personally. She's...well, not exactly a best friend. (More on that later.) Her name is Yuna and, while a usually light-hearted individual like me, she can be a tough cookie, if you get her to that point. What do I mean exactly? Well, as 'Mr. Big-Strong-Tough Guy' Lance starts to approach me, Yuna is given a vantage point and uses it, wisely. She winds up, pounces forward, and jabs the young man in the back. With what? A kick, of course!

She stands up, and only now do the school reps and the police come in deal with the situation. How didn't they see this when Yuna was on the ground? Anyway, the cops cuff Lance and take him off the roof. His last words were, "Don't think you won't fall prey to the shadows, my friends!" and then he started to laugh maniacally, while being pushed down the hall. Crazy! Now what he said...I may be good at figuring out stuff and things but, I have no idea about the meaning of his words. What exactly does he mean?

As I think about confronting him, his distant laughs start to become screams. I don't think Yuna hears them because she says, probably the funniest thing I've heard all day: "When all else fails, never forget to show them your moves." We both burst out laughing, like little toddlers hearing the, ever-so-pleasant, sound of a belch for the first time. Then, it happens. As all of Lance's screaming comes to the highest peak of agonizing volume, a loud pulse of noise ends it all.

My name is Evan and this is my story.
