Barry Allen

"Hey, Joe." I said whilst walking into the precinct.

"Barry, Aren't you off today?" I nodded.

"Iris wanted to meet for coffee. She said to come here first. I thinks she wants Eddie to tag along." Joe nodded and signaled toward Eddie's desk where they stood being all lovey dovey.

I guess this was my own fault. I should have told her how I felt earlier. Now I've lost her to Detective Pretty Boy. She looks at Eddie the way I've always looked at her. Iris glanced over and noticed I was here.

"Hey!" She yelled running over. "Are you ready? I hope you don't mind, but I invited Eddie and a friend of his." I nodded. Eddie's friend? Eddie walked up ready to go.

"Hi Barry. We should go. Don't want to keep her waiting." 

Her?

Cairi Jones

I sat in Jitters waiting for Iris and Eddie. For a girl who works at a coffee shop, she seems to visit the station a lot. After about five minutes of waiting they walked in. A tall guy followed them to me.

"Hi guys." I smiled at them. Iris came over hugging me as we all exchanged greetings. "Who's this?" I asked gesturing to the guy.

"This is my best friend Barry. Bar, This is Cairi Jones the newest morgue assistant at the station. I have to say, she's the prettiest morgue assistant I have ever met." I blushed at her words.

"Hey don't say that. There are a lot of people prettier than me. And I only applied for the job." I said pushing her shoulder lightly. I turn to Barry. "It's nice to meet you. Iris told me a lot about you."

"Nice to meet you too. Iris has never mentioned you before." Barry said shyly. Iris spoke up.

"You had just woke up from the coma and I thought you seemed a little busy getting yourself back together." Barry nodded. As I watched the two, I noticed something between them. Something I couldn't put my finger on.

We talked for about 15 minutes, before my phone erupted with Got7's A.

"Let me take this" I walked away. "Hello?"

Caitlin- Cairi? Mom told me that you were in town. Why didn't you tell me

Cairi- I was going to surprise. Tell Auntie I said "Thanks for ruining my surprise." Actually I wanted to talk to you about something involving the Particle Accelerator. Can I come to STAR LABS?

Caitlin- Yeah of course. Come around 3. See you soon.

She hung up after that. Looking at the time I saw it was already 2:30. I really wanted to stop home before going to see her. I walked back to table to find them all looking at me.

"Sorry I have to go. I have to meet someone at S.T.A.R. LABS." Barry's eyes widened. I wonder why. Did he have a connection with S.T.A.R. LABS?

"Barry knows the people at S.T.A.R. LABS. He can go with you." I considered it. I looked to Barry and he seemed to agree.

"Um, No thanks. I have stop home to change. See you guys later." I waved goodbye as I walked out and hailed a taxi. I didn't want to be lat. It was one of my pet peeves.

Barry Allen

"Oh, Cairi forgot her wallet! Can u go see if you can catch her, Barry?" I grab the wallet from Iris and start to head out.

"I'm gonna head home after." No I wasn't. "Enjoy yourselves." I ran around the corner to find Cairi's taxi pulling away. I just missed her. I'll give it to Iris to give it to her. Just then my phone rang.

Cisco- Barry?

Barry- Hey Cisco. What's up?

Cisco- Caitlin's cousin is coming to the Labs. So, you know, no speeding in.

Barry- Okay, Cisco.

I hung up. Caitlin's cousin? She's never really mentioned her family. She's kinda reserved. Maybe I would drop by the labs later.
