Real as never

She was never sure of herself,
Never had any reason to believe in herself.

It wasn't until you came barging into her quiet place,
That she realised someone else could mean so much.

I had always dreamt of my Prince Charming,
Coming to my rescue saddled on a horse.

But you were no prince,
You had nothing such to offer.

Plain as ever,
But you loved me so wholly.

You showed me I needed no prince,
When a pauper was capable of a love richer than all the riches.
