In this world, everyone has part of a phrase engraved on the underneath of their wrist, complete the phrase, find your soulmate, simple as that! They will glow when you have found the one. It's always been Boy to girl, but these two fellas ended up breaking the system.
Mark's POV:
I was making my way out of my home to wander the streets of LA, letting the air hit and blow my red floofy hair as I try to search for the one I've been missing, looking at every girls wrist that I could possibly read but none of them made sense with mine, nor did they glow.

~three hours pass~
I decide just to quit, I'll never find the one so why try. I look up to see a coffee shop and decide to make a stop, Something about them is peaceful and I could definitely use the break. I walk into the store to be greeted by an Irish sounding man with green hair on the top. " Hello sir, how may I assist ye today?" Damn is accent was pretty cute, never was into guys though, then I started to think, maybe that's why I've never found the one yet cause.... It's the same gender?!
" Um yes Hi, I'd like to get a tall hot mocha please?" I ask shyly, trying to look at his wrist but he was moving to much for me to focus. I look up at him, his ocean blue eyes damn you can get lost in them. His hair, what a luscious green it is, oh and his....his everything is perfect. I start to hear a faint sound, then make it out to be snapping " Sir? Sir?!" He says to me, snapping in my face.
" Oh yes sorry, what happened?" " I said that'll be $3.47" I took out my wallet and handed him my card. Shortly he hands it back. " Ye may go take a seat, I'll go hand yer coffee over to ye when it is ready" he said in his sweet accent. I nod and walk over to a seat and think to myself " He must be new, I've been here a lot and have never seen him around. Probably came from Ireland." Once I sit down I examine my phrase, rubbing my hand over it, whispering what it is quietly.
" We Shall Shi" is all that it was.
Jack's POV:
I tell the kind man to go sit down and that I'll bring him is coffee, but I don't do that for just nobody. When he was dazed or something, I saw his wrist and it was faintly glowing but by the time I could look at mine the glowing had stopped so I need to find out if he is my other. I'm in the backish area making his order, glancing over to him every now and then, seeing that he is examining his phrase.
" I wonder what his says" I think to myself and look down at mine. I sigh as I read mine, now having second thoughts of if I actually saw a glow or not.
" ne Together" I say. I get his coffee together and make my way over to him and tap him on the shoulder. Damn it why didn't I get a glance at his words first, I'm such a moron.
" Here is yer coffee sir, oh and do ye mind if I sit with ye, I'm on my break now?" I ask nervously, stroking my arm. " Yeah of course, pull up a seat" he said with a very cheerful tone. I smile and take a seat. He takes a sip of his coffee and smiles at me, hinting at me that it is good, I smile back and give a thumbs up. " So, are you from Ireland? I recognize the accent and I haven't seen you around before?" He takes another sip of his drink.
" Y-Yeah I actually got here about a week ago, still trying to find the person for me but no luck so far....have ye found yer someone?" I ask covering my own phrase. " Nope, still trying though, I thought I haven't had any luck cause I kept looking for girls when it could be a guy but, who knows" he looked down at his phrase.
" How many letters in yer part of the phrase?" I question, already knowing what number I had. He looked and started to count them. " 10, you?" Oh my goodness he has same, is....is this my soulmate?! Okay calm yourself Jack you don't know anything it could merely have been a coincidence that you two had the same number of letters just breathe and tell him yours.
" Nice! I also have 10, I've always thought that your partner would have the same number letters too but it was just a theory I had as a young lad."
Mark's POV:
He has 10 too! And he has the same theory I had growing up, I'm really curious what his is but I should really get....damn I forgot about his name!
" Okay this might be really random but, I never got your name. My name is Mark." I hold my hand out for a hand shake, the one with the mark on it which is my right hand. " Oh yeah of Course, my name is Seán but ye can call me Jack" he smiles and reaches out for my hand, which is the same hand his words are etched on. I take a glance at what his says but when I do I see a small glow. Could it be?! Is he really the one!
" Hey so if you don't mind asking, what does your phrase say exactly?" He instantly looks up at me with a face of shock. " O-oh umm, it says "ne Together"." he said, spelling out the "ne". " What does yer's say?" He questions, getting a little grin to appear on his face.
" Mine says " We Shall Shi"....wait! Give me your hand" I hold my hand out waiting for Jack to give me his, which he does. I get up and put my wrist next to his, making out a phrase.
Nobody's POV:
They both look at their own and the others wrist and read what the phrase was.

" We Shall Shine Together"

Once the two read the phrase their wrist started to glow. They look up at each other and smile. They have found the one they have been searching for. They pull each other into a deep, passionate kiss and finally enjoy what they were missing for years, embracing their emotions to one another.

They have completed their phrase.
