Lightning Strikes

The house was dark, as usual. Mother won't be up until the morning light. I tip-toed to the kitchen and grabbed a banana, i haven't ate in days. My mother doesn't allow me to, she thinks that i'm a waste of life. My backpack was hanging off my left shoulder. Inside was 3 outfits, 2 bras, 3 Pairs of underwear, a toothbrush, a pair of sneakers, purfume i stole from mother, and 300 dollars in cash. I was finally leaving. I checked the time on the stove and the particle accelerator will be started soon. I wanted to see it before i left.

It exploded. I was hit by a lightning bolt on the outskirts of the city. My whole body shook. There was nobody for at lease a dozen miles. I was gonna die. At least i hoped i would ,then mother won't track me down and bring me home.
