"She sure is." I stuck my tongue out at Ronnie. "But we love her anyway."

"You better!" He just laughed. "And you better not do anything special for my birthday!" Ronnie and Jake just looked at each other and laughed.

By the time everyone had woken up, it was 4pm and they all had to get ready for a gig, meaning I had to get ready to do the merch.

I couldn't be bothered, so simply pulled on my black skinnies, zebra print polo shirt, and black Docs. I decided to just straighten my bright red hair, before getting the scissors out of my bag and trimming my undercut back down. I then put a thin line of eyeliner on and decided that was enough.

I went to check on Jake (since I had been getting ready in Ronnie's room)  and saw that he was also dressed. He was basically wearing the same as me, just with a plain black polo and white Converse.

By the time we got to the venue, I had around half an hour to set up all the stuff they would be selling to fans. It didn't take me long, purely because I had the help of Jake.

By the time the concert started, Jake had decided to sit on the floor behind the table and play on his iPod.  The only people that came over to buy things were mainly twelve, but I refrained from making sarcastic comments.

I was paying no attention to the gig until I heard Ronnie speak.

"So, guys, you having fun?" The whole crowd cheered but one guy booed after. "What's your problem?"

"Your stupid, ugly merch girl keeps being bitchy with everyone, including me and my little sister." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry but that stupid, ugly merch girl is my rather smart, beautiful girlfriend, and she was probably only being bitchy because you're a prick." I chuckled to myself, Ronnie was great.

After the gig, I was greeted by Ronnie who had come out from backstage and came over to hug me. We stood like that for at least five minutes before someone came over to buy merch. However they spent about ten minutes fangirlling over Ronnie before actually getting anything which was rather annoying.

When they were finally finished and actually bought something, I packed all the stuff away and walked to the backstage area with Jake, where all the guys were waiting with their stuff so we could all get on the bus together.

By the time we got back it was already way past Jake's bedtime so I simply let him stay up longer so he wouldn't complain about being sent to bed when he was up late anyway. I regretted that decision since all he did after that was complain and whine.

"Jake, it's my birthday, so either go to bed, or come over here and stop complaining." He glared at me before walking over and sitting in between me and Ronnie. "Thank you."

"It's ok momma. Happy Birthday. I love you." I smiled at him and then cuddled him into me.

"I love you too Jakey." He then turned to Ronnie and cuddled into him.

"I also love you Ronnie, I wish you were my dad." Everyone in the room 'aww'ed, even Ronnie.

"Anyway," I turned to look at everyone, "I'm off to bed so I'll see you all again tomorrow." They all waved and nodded, except Ronnie who hugged and kissed me.

I opened the door to Ronnie's room to be greeted by Charlie, who jumped on the bed while I pulled my pj's on. As soon as I got into bed Charlie jumped on me and then just cuddled into me, taking up all of Ronnie's side of the bed.

After about an hour of cuddling Charlie, Ronnie walked into the room, changed so he was only wearing boxers, and then shoo'ed Charlie off the bed, before getting in himself.

We cuddled for a while before he picked something up from the floor and looked at me.

"Jade, I know you told us all not to bother with your birthday, but I got you this tonight just after you came in here... I had help off Jake though." I smiled before he passed me it. It was a jumper with a picture of Frank Sinatra on and said 'That's Life'.

"Ronnie, it's awesome, thank you!" I practically jumped on him and hugged him. "But you still shouldn't have!" He laughed.

"I'm sorry but I had to. Wouldn't be right if I didn't get my girl something for her birthday... Also, when's Jake's birthday? I want to get him something." I smiled.

"It's in four days, but please don't spend too much on him, I've only got him the Fashionably Late album." Ronnie smiled.

"I won't, don't worry. But man, you've got yourself a great kid, ever since I first looked at him I've wished he was mine." I smiled.

"You do realize he already thinks of you as his dad anyway? He's always wanted 'a dad as cool as Ronnie' for as long as I can remember."

Ronnie just smiled and continued to cuddle me until I fell asleep beside him, and dreamed of what life would have been like if Ronnie had genuinely been Jake's dad...
