As soon as I woke up I checked my phone, only to notice I had a text from Ronnie.
Hey, and it's fine. Also, the guys are all alright with you and Jakey coming on tour with us so you can do our merch :) if you want we can come get you at 11:30 if you want?
I checked the time, it was already 9:30, but I guess that was enough time to get ready. I replied to Ronnie.
Yeah that would be great. I apologise in advance for Jake's over-excited behaviour. :)
He replied straight away.
Okay, just text me your address and we'll be there :)
I sent it and then I put my phone down on my bedside table before getting up and walking into Jake's room. He was awake and sitting on his iPod, probably stalking Falling In Reverse on Twitter like he normally was.
"Momma!" He looked up at me and ran over before I picked him up and sat him in my lap. "Can we call Ronnie Bear and Jacky Bear now?" I laughed a little.
"Nope," he looked like he was going to cry, "because at 11:30 I have something even better for you!" He squealed.
"Tell me! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!" I laughed at his excitement.
"No Jakey, it's a super special surprise!" He sighed. "Anyway, go and get yourself some cereal whilst I sort some stuff out in my room."
"OK momma!" With that he disappeared and I walked into my room.
I checked my phone to reveal another text from Ronnie.
Oh cool, I used to live near there! And remember to bring some spare clothes and stuff for the tour :)
I picked up my backpack and filled it with clothes after looking for the cigarettes I lost last night. I still couldn't find them... I then got my other backpack and went into Jake's room, filling it with things I knew he'd want with him, as well as his clothes; the main one was his zebra teddie, he couldn't sleep without it.
I put the bags at the top of the stairs (authors note - it's set in an upstairs flat) and then walked into the front room to see Jake sat on the sofa with a bowl of cereal on his lap. He was watching Scuzz on TV.
"Hey Jakey, what'chu watching?" I sat down beside him and he looked up at me.
"Falling In Reverse interview from after we left last night! It's Ronnie Bear!" I looked up and saw him talking but couldn't quite hear it so I turned it up.
Interviewer: 'So, I witnessed you flirting with someone tonight, care to tell who it is?'
Ronnie: 'I wouldn't call it flirting, it's just being nice. She was a great girl though, and her kid was adorable.'
Interviewer: 'Oh, fair enough. So you won't be seeing her again?'
Ronnie: 'I'm not saying that, I'm just saying I wasn't flirting yesterday. I would say she's a friend, nothing more, nothing less.'
Jake looked at me and smirked. I raised an eyebrow at him and he just laughed.
"Momma, he likes you!" I rolled my eyes. "He does! He really does. Even Jacky Bear thinks so!" I raised an eyebrow.
"I seriously doubt it Jakey, now finish your cereal."
He ate the rest, put his bowl in the sink and returned just in time for the doorbell to ring. I picked him up and walked down the stairs. I opened the door to reveal Ronnie and Jacky. Obviously, Jake had to climb out of my arms and into Jacky's.
