I looked over the horizon, the orange skies blaring in my eyes.
It truly was a beautiful sight.
Dion forcefully pushed me away when I tried to see what he was looking at. We had just landed, and I had grabbed my suitcase, heading into the airport. The airport was a nice white- quartz padding everywhere I looked.
A few kids pointed at me, gaping. Their parents held them back. I smiled and waved at them. They were so giddy- was I like that when I was a child?
A waiter offered me a Moomoo Milk. I loved that stuff when I was younger, so I decided: why not give it a sip?
Kimuri looked at me. "This place is extremely close to Kanto, so I wouldn't be surprised if I saw Professor Oak here."
Dion grumbled. "That guy's always asking me to," he put up his hands in a quotation mark gesture, "if I had filled up my Pokedex yet."
Kimuri looked at me. She still hadn't told Dion that she sort of.. didn't like him.
"Why hello there!" I heard someone say. I turned around, and the greyish-blondish hair was unmistakable. It was Professor Oak. "How are you?"
Kimuri nodded. "We're doing okay, thanks for asking."
Professor Oak had sort of become a fatherly-type figure to me. I didn't have a very good father, and he was the next-best thing. "Let me see that thing your Charizard uses to turn into Primal Charizard!" He said to me.
I reluctantly obeyed, handing it to him. He examined it thoroughly. "It seems all I have to do is remove this stone and then add a Mega Stone." He murmured.
"So any Pokemon that can mega evolve has the ability to become Primal?" Dion asked. He looked genuinely interested.
"Well, that's what it looks like." Oak murmured. "Come with me to my lab."
Professor Oak led us to a bright-red convertible. Dion and I piled into the back seat, while Kimuri rode in the front.
The lab was huge. It had a large glass roof with an array of PCs sitting in the corners. I noticed some guy with a wrench stood, working on one. "Hand me a bolt and screw," he said. He reached out his hands and a person who I assumed was his assistant handed him exactly what he asked for.
"Bill! These are the Elite Four and Champion!" Professor Oak said proudly.
The person holding a wrench turned around. He had gasoline smudged all over his face and a few wires clutched in his hands. Then he smiled, saying "Hi, I'm Bill!"
I waved. "Hello there, I'm Sam." We all introduced ourselves.
"Bill, could you take a look at this?" Oak handed him the stone.
Bill examined it. "I need to get this thing looked at."
He ran over to a microscope on a table, and put the stone on it.
He looked at it, and came to a realization. "Yep. There sure is a Mega Stone in there."
"But how do we remove the Mega Stone?" Professor Oak asked.
"This thing's one of a kind," Bill said matter-of-factly. "There's one scattered over every region, judging by the image that's on the side of it."
I took it, trying to see the image Bill spoke of. I realized there was a solid A on the side of it. I showed it to Kimuri and Dion, who both noticed it as well.
