Hi, everyone, I hope everyone is quite curious on what Emerald meant at the previous chapter and what is her old job. Well, to know, you must read on. LOL.
Sorry for not uploading for a short time, I was busy with my Common Tests (CT). I still have my Maths CT tomorrow which I haven't study for but let me upload a chapter first.
BTW, I may accidentally write Min Xin into Min Fei cuz Min Fei is one of the characters in the 9pm show, 行医 (The Oath) so it gets stuck in my head so 对不起 (Sorry).

Chapter Seven ~ Sapphire
"Happy Valentine's Day!" Min Xin cried out as she hugged me from behind. "Huh?" I asked, confusion knitted my eyebrows together.
"You don't know, arh? Today's Valentine's Day, leh. Later, Zhi Kai know, he sure very angry one. I tell you." Min Xin said, hands on her hips. With every word, my heart sank lower.
"Omigosh. Min Xin, what should I do now?" I asked, grabbing Min Xin's hands. She looked at me before bursting into hysterical laughter.
"You really believe me?" Min Xin said in between laughter. "Seriously?"
Wapiang. I have been bluffed. "Ha ha. Very funny." I tapped my foot as I waited for Min Xin to stop laughing.
"But seriously, Zhi Kai would be sibeh sad if you didn't planned anything for him." Min Xin told me.
"I know! I seriously don't know how did I manage to forget Valentine's Day." I shook my head. "Min Xin, you have to help me. Please."
"Of course! You two are my best friends.' Min Xin said and I smiled happily and gratefully. "Thanks."

Shit. Why did that stupid Min Xin have to butt in? I growled from my hiding spot, behind a large potted plant. I saw Sapphire and Min Xin started talking happily. Never mind. I thought. I still can go on with my plan.
Quickly, I run towards Sapphire and Min Xin. I put on a big smile and said. "What's up?"
"Today's Valentine Day!" Sapphire replied. "And I didn't prepare anything for Zhi Kai."
"Omigosh!" I cried out. "How did you forget?"
"I don't know. It's like someone wiped my mind off." Sapphire answered, biting her bottom lip.
I smiled. It was me actually. Yesterday, I changed her phone date to 14 February so when she woke up today, it was 15 February. I also changed the days on the calendar so she won't realize that a whole day had gone, according to her phone. Sometimes, I think I'm the smartest person in the world.
"Are you smiling?" Min Xin asked, looking at me like she was trying to see my soul.
Smiling? Crap. My smile had grown bigger without me knowing. I erased it away."No, it was a frown."
"Okay..." Min Xin didn't look like she believed me but so what? Min Xin may be the prettiest girl in the school but I seen before her grades. She's not very smart at all, just a normal student.
"Anyway, what's your plan?" I asked. One of the most important tips of my previous job was 'Know Thy Enemy'.
"Erm...I'm not sure. Maybe a dinner date at Pasta Mania at Hougang Mall?" Sapphire replied.
"That's a perfect idea!" Min Xin cried out happily. I nodded. "What time is the dinner?"
The three of us discussed quickly and decided on 7pm. Sapphite reserved a table for two and then spun around. "Thanks guys. For helping me."
"Aww...That's what friends are for." Min Xin hugged Sapphire and Sapphire put her arm around me and the three of us shared a group hug.
Dinner at Pasta Mania at 7pm. I stored the piece of important information in my brain. Perfect. Now, for the vital part of my plan. I hope my acting skills haven't become rusty.
