Part 2

Song Jae Eun

I wake up to sound of Son Hyun Woo talking loudly on the phone. I sit up and find him sitting on his bed with his phone to his ear.

"Shut up!" I yell at him. He glares at me.

"I'll call you back later." He says and then hangs up.

"I'm trying to sleep." I say annoyed.

"This is my room, so I can speak as loud as I want." Song Hyun Woo says.

"Look, I share this room with you now, so stop being an idiot." I say.

"Aish! You're so annoying." Son Hyun Woo.

"I can say the same about you, Son. Hyun. Woo." I say emphasizing his name because I know it will bother him.

"Shownu. My name is Shownu." Son Hyun Woo says.

"Sure, Son. Hyun. Woo." I say.

"You're so infuriating!" Son Hyun Woo yells. I pull my covers back over my head and try to sleep. Just as I'm about to sleep, Son Hyun Woo starts talking on the phone again.

"Sorry Jooheon, there was an annoying sound that I needed to deal with." Son Hyun Woo says loudly. I try really hard to ignore him. Suddenly I hear more voices and realize that he has put his phone on speaker. All I hear is a bunch of guys shouting. I've had enough of this. I push my blanket off of me and storm over to his bed. I yank the phone out of his hand and hang up.

"Ya!!!" Son Hyun Woo yells.

"You caused this on yourself." I say.

"How dare you touch my stuff." Son Hyun Woo says. I roll my eyes.

"You're such a drama queen." I say.

"Give me my phone." Son Hyun Woo says.

"Not until you shut up and stop blabbing." I say.

"You stole my room and now my phone too. Is there anything of mine that you don't want?" Son Hyun Woo says.

"I'm don't want your personality." I say.

"No wonder you don't have a boyfriend." Son Hyun Woo says.

"YA! Chugulle?" I ask.

"Ne, so then I wouldn't have to see you." Son Hyun Woo says.

"I'm done wasting my time on you." I say. I fold my "bed" and put it in the corner. I walk to the door and am about to leave when something hits me on the back of my head. I turn around and find a pillow on the floor and Son Hyun Woo staring at me.

"It's on now, Son. Hyun. Woo." I say. I pick the pillow up off the ground and throw it at him. It hits him right in the face. I take that opportunity to run for it. I make my way to the bathroom where I lock myself. I hear Son Hyun Woo approach the bathroom.

"YA! Open the door!" Son Hyun Woo yells. I hear a door open and then a voice.

"Why are you yelling?" His father asks. I cover my mouth to keep myself from laughing.

"I need to use the washroom and Song Jae Eun has been in there for a long time." Son Hyun Woo says. I try to not gasp.

"You know how girls are." His father says.

"Mianhaeyo." Son Hyun Woo apologizes.

"Kwenchana?" His father asks me.

"Ne." I say. I open the door and step out.

A while later

It's now breakfast time. When I go into the kitchen I see eomma and Ms. Oh making breakfast .

"Annyeonghaseoyo" I say bowing.

"You're finally up." Eomma says.

"Ne. Oh yeah, I have work today." I say.

"Okay. Breakfast is almost done, so eat some before you go." Eomma says. I nod. Son Yoon Hee and Unnie come out of their room linking arms. Then appa and Mr. Son come in from outside.

"Where is Hyun Woo?" Ms. Oh asks. As if on cue he steps out of his room. He's wearing a blue and white flannel with a white t-shirt underneath. I don't make eye contact with him. We all sit around the table. Of course Son Hyun Woo and I are seated next to each other.

"The guys and I are going to Busan today." Son Hyun Woo says.

"You should stay home and study." Mr. Son says.

"Appa, I'll study, so don't worry." Son Hyun Woo says. Son Hyun Woo may look stupid, but he's actually quite smart. In fact he's the top of the class, with me of course.

"Aigoo." Ms. Oh says. While this whole thing is happening, I'm eating quickly because I have to be at work in half an hour but I have 20 minute bus ride. I stand up and put my dishes in the sink.

"I'll get going now." I say. I wave and make my way to the door where I put my shoes on. It's hot outside, not surprisingly since it's August. Summer break is almost over. I walk to the bus stop where I wait for the bus. I'm glad I can finally get away from Son Hyun Woo.
