He walks up to one of the cars and gets in the passenger seat, sticks the key in the ignition and pokes his head out the window.
"Get in," he says with a smirk on his face.
"No fucking way am I getting in a vehicle with a driver that only has one eye and I don't know, has maybe never driven a car in his life before!"
"Just do it."

Minutes later I've found myself in a rather life threatening situation.
"Fuck Carl! They're may not be any other cars but you should still try to stay on the road!"
Enid comes into view and we see looking at a pool of blood. There is a walker headed straight for her so Carl hits the gas and runs over it then crashes into something. Another walker can be seen from the rear view mirror, so he puts the car in reverse and runs over that one too. This time he crushes it between the gas station and the bumper.
"Never again," I say.
When Enid walks up to the window she looks stunned.
"What are you doing here?"
"Felt like a drive," he says very cocky.
"I lean over to the window and say, "Never drive with Carl Grimes, unless you have a death wish."

Enid is walking on the opposite side of the road than Carl and I.
"You're really not sorry you saw it?"
"Yeah, I watched it. Both times, i didn't look away," I say.
"Why?"
"Cause I knew I needed to remember it. So when I have the chance to kill him, it wouldn't be a choice."
"I think I'd kill him too. It's messed up but that's how it is. You do things for the ones you love. Loved," she looks dead ahead.
"It's not for them," Carl says.
It's almost like every single time Carl speaks you can hear the tension in his voice.
"I'm sorry I locked you in the armoury."
"I didn't need to see it," she says. "We don't even know if she's okay."
"Well get there."
"Yeah," she kicks a rock.

It's been a couple hours and Enid is way ahead of us now.
Carl and I's steps have came into perfect sync but we haven't said a word to each other. Having his presence nearby makes me feel something I've never felt before. I think I'm beginning to have feeling for Carl. I can't give in to those feelings though. I mean, Enid and Carl like each other and I can't disrupt that.
