Kitting

DawnFlower was having her kits. The medicine cat, JayFeather, was giving her herbs, and frantically trying to calm the mother down. It was predicted she would have four kits, and the fourth was still coming. She pushed, and the little tom was out. Well, biggish kit. DawnFlower breathed more evenly now. The kits frantically crawled and mewled for milk, and found it. Their father, NightOwl, rushed in. The pure black tom quickly rushed to his reddish and gold mate. He laid behind her, asking calmly. "What shall we name them?" He asked, in a hushed tone, as not to disturb the kits. "The orange and black-grey one shall be SplashedKit, the smokey grey one shall be Ashkit, the Orange and black one shall be Firekit, and the black one shall be NightKit." She replied, happily. Splashkit was female, as were Ashkit and Nightkit. Firekit was the only male. The parents beamed, their first litter was born.

Yes, this chapter was very short. And no, DawnFlower was just a name I thought of, and realised it was an actual warriors name, but, it isn't the real DawnFlower, just so that's clear.
