The next day I walked into school with my earbuds in, listening to Mayday Parade on full Volume. My head was hanging low, hoping Benny wouldn't see me, so I'd have a bit time for myself till I'd have to see him in class.
To my luck, he saw me when I got my books out of my locker. I tried to act like I didn't see him too, but it didn't work when he tapped me on my shoulder.
,,Hey" He said and smiled at me. How does he always manage to smile?
,,Hi" I said back, hoping he'd get the hint to leave me alone till class.
,,You want to walk to the room with me?" He asked with hope in his voice, making me start an argument with myself.
I don't want to make him sad, he's the only one I've met who has always a smile across his face, but I still want time for me right now.
So I just nod, took my books out of my locker and followed him to the classroom.
,,You wanna hang out today?" he asked as soon as we sat down, fishing his books out of his bag.
,,Uh.. I don't know.. gotta ask my.. parents" I said slowly.
,,Okay, tell me by lunch? Need to tell my parents till than." He told me and after that the teacher walked in, and everyone got quiet, including Benny and me.
