Chapter 6

Nayr's pov

"Come on Lex pick up your phone!! theres people running around outside screaming and theres blood all over the place. Where are they? They were supposed to go to the pool and then be back like 15 minutes later. I caled both their phones like a million times and they cant even be bothered to call me back. I mean jeez they looked cozy at the dance but they could have the decency to call me." I mumbled to myself.

"Unless..?..?..?.. something happend to them. Hey guys Im going out to look for Lex and Ren." I started to say.

"Whoa whoa whoa, you are not going to do anything that reckless. If there is anything I know about Lex, is that she can handle herself and with Ren by her side, they wont be in any trouble." Payson said.

"We need to keep everyone together here and when hey do call or get back here then we will make the next move. Maybe by you calling them every five seconds is distracting them from a situation that needs their full concentration. We need to trust them and just wait it out. But I dont think that going out in the open and blindly looking for them is a good idea either." Payson said.

"You do have a point but I just worry about her, Iv'e always worried about her ever since.................. I just care for her and Ren but I dont want them to be somewhere hurt and I am just sitting here doing nothing waiting for them to come back." Nayr said.

"Look Nayr we need to all just go to sleep, we need it and they will come back in the morning. But when they do we need to be ready and totally alert. Its already one in the morning and everyone else is sleeping so we should do the same. The door is locked and a few thing are up against it so we need to go to sleep and be ready for whatever is coming out way tomorrow. Okay?" Payson whispered to him trying to calm him down.

"Alright I guess your right, lets go to sleep." Nayr said

We went to sleep and I prayed that those two were alright and just off somewhere fooling around instead of somewhere hurt.

THE NEXT MORNING:

Lex pov

I hear my alarm starting to go off and I looked at the clock on my phone seeing that it was 4 am, remembering that I was going out with Ren, Nayr, Ching, and Kyle to go and practice softball and baseball. I immediatley turned off the alarm and I snuggled very gently back into Rens arms not wanting this moment to end.

"Ohh wait what is this? Theres at least forty missed calls and a million text messages. Most of them were from Nayr but one phone call inparticular caught my eye. Ohhh no its from my sister!!Holy crap this is bad! My sister only calls my incase of major emergencies."

 Ok let me tell you something about my sister.

Valaire works for the government and not just the FBI or CIA. Shes like ten times higher than that, her division technically doesnt exist and shes the person who basically takes out the terioists or the threats against the country before they become a threat.

As soon as I saw my sisters missed phone call, I knew that something serious was going on. I got up from the bed with the sleeping Ren and I went into the bathroom, and turned the shower on so that Ren couldnt hear me if he woke up. I dialed the number for my sister and it rang twice before I heard an annoyed voice on the other end.

"Where the HELL have you been!?!!?!?! You know that whenever I call you, you are to immediatley answer no matter what! And whats that noise in the backround." Valairie said

"Umm well I was a little busy last night and Im sorry I missed your call I know that Im always supposed to answer you." I said

"Ummmm what were you so busy with that you decided to ignore my call." Valairie said

"I was.. um ....umm....I was with a boy." I trailed off and whispered the end of that sentence.

"You were what!!!! Who is this boy, and what were you doing with him." Valarie said

"umm I dont think I have to explain my love life to you." I whisper shouted

"Yeah it does ............ well is he you know clean?" valaire said.

"what?!? yeah he is.... yeah, im sure of it and besides its none of your business." I said while blushing at the way our conversation was going.

You need to be absolutley sure before you do anything and I cant believe that you are being so stupid. Come one Lex didnt I teach you anything?" Valaire shouted at me.

"Um yes you did and besides you know him and we havent done anything yet, well only make out. Now can we please change the subject." I pleaded

"What! well we will talk about this later and dont think I will forget, okay but now down to business. Has there been anything strange going on at school in the last 72 hours." Valaire asked

Valaire's voice went from raging and with a little humor in it, to dead serious.

"Um can you define strange?" I said

"Were there any fights or anything like that out of the ordinary?" Valaire asked

"Actually yeah.... there was how did you know? Wait dont answer that. So i know you know whats going on so spill it. Whats going on I need to know." I asked

"Ok. well there is no easy way to put this and it will go a lot faster if I just tell you straight. There are zombies swarming outside and the world has been thrown right into the middle of a choas wheel of fortune. Landing us on the jackpot." Valaire said

"Wait what are you talking about, this isnt funny Valaire Im being serious, whats going on. I cant believe that you joking around at a time like this."Then all of a sudden I heard the door start to creak and then it flung open................

Okay its the end of chapter 6 and zombies are finally out in the open. How do you think Lex will take it and who flung open the door. What do you think of Lex's sister Valaire?
