I sat there. I sat there in my father's office, watching him pace back and forth behind his desk, giving off his iconic smirk. The clock ticks slowly as I continue sitting, wondering why he called me down. He stops and turns towards me, bending forward and puts his hands on his desk digging his sharp, shadow black nail into them slightly. I lightly swallow as I watch him do that and I look up at him.
He stands back up and he puts his hands behind his back, "Son do you remember several hundred years ago when I sent my best demon to convince several dozen people that there was no God, which started the beginning of Atheism" he says walking to his bookcase.
"Ye....yes father, I do remember that day" I mumble lightly as I sit back crossing my arms and snuggle my head slightly back into my cloth wrapped hood.
"Well, as of last month, total amount of Atheist that make up the human race is now at ninety percent. and now since no one believes in that lying sack of shit who they call God" He angrily says as he turns back around and walks back behind my chair.
I stay silent, having nothing to say since I am a bit nervous of my father's next words. He doesn't say anything for a bit, just a couple of light breathes and a couple of soft groans as he goes back and sits down at his desk. "Son, I am going to have you be sent down to Earth and monitor everyone while I get my next plan into motion, you understand?" He asks in a very sincere tone.
I nod lightly" Yes father, I will go get my stuff ready" I answer faintly and I slowly stand up and I brush down my bright red and black coat. My father nods as he stands up and heads out the door. I soon follow behind but don't follow him and I head down a separate hallway to my room.I look around my room grabbing one of my larger sized backpacks and I toss it onto my bed. I sigh as I start grabbing out some of my more human like clothes as I toss them onto my bed, next to my backpack.
As I am trying to finish up packing, my door quietly opens as I look back seeing my girlfriend, Lilith, comes in holding her hands behind her back keeping her head down. I walk over and put my hands on your cheeks and raise her head up "What is wrong my little demon boo" I say solemnly tilting my head slightly.
She bites her lip nervously as she softly says "I...I heard you are leaving, you know up to Earth for.....for your father." I sigh as I bring her over to the bed and I set us both on the edge. I wrap my arm around her making sure I don't hit her wings.
"I promise I will return, I am only going to be there for a certain amount of time, observing and monitoring them as he gets his plan into action and then I will return." I pull her face close to mine. I smile at her, causing her to smile slightly back and I give her a light kiss.
"Do you promise, love?" She questions as she tilts her head.
"I promise baby, I will return back in no time" I stand us up and she gives my one last kiss on the cheek as she exits my room and I sigh happily as I finish up my packing.
I put on my backpack over one shoulder as I exit out of the room. I make my way slowly down the hallways, passing by all of my friends and families nodding to them as I continue my way down to the portal room. I get in there and my father is standing at the giant, circular portal that is made out of old stone and obsidian. As I walk up, I slowly read the symbols that outline the portal. I stand next to my dad as he starts chanting the symbols on the portal. Not long after he starts, the portal starts glowing and then orangish yellow substance fill the circle.
My father turns to me "Son I need you to remember, you must like and live among them until I summon you back. Do not fall for a human, do not get too close to another human. I love you my dark prince." He nods and gives me a hug. I smile lightly and when he lets go I turn towards the portal. I look behind me one last time to see all my friends and family watching and I take one big sigh. I step them feeling the vortex suck me
in. I start to fall down in a long vortex tube, where on the outside I see a place i've seen before and heard about my father, Dark Oblivion. My father always told me how terrible it was, where people more sinister than Hell can handle go. A place no sane person shall ever enter. I close my eyes as I continue to fall, knowing, it would take a while.
