Melody looked out the window of her windowseat and saw a cute tall boy with short brown hair on the other side. What will she do???? She's super awkward and clumsy... she let out a smol wave and smiled at him. He looked at her and returned a huge grin. Blushing madly, melody ran downstairs to find her dad. "Hay dad what's for dinner?" She asked him with an empty stomach. "Oh the nice neighbors invited us over for dinner." He told me. She groaned, "but dad I'm so awkward and shy!!" "There's a boy ur age thereeeee!!!" He knew how to get her to agree to things. Maybe it's the boy I saw in the window!! Probs not tho😜😜 she thought

We stopped at the giant door. I knocked twice and glanced at my dad. "Remember," he told me, "Make sure to smile and be polite." "Of course dad I'm not 4 or something." He chuclkled while we waited for the door to be answered. And older women answered the door and smiled warmly at us. "Come in come in! Glad u could make it!" I smiled and dad and I stepped in. "No need to take off ur shoes here it's fine." We shrugged and followed her to the kitchen. "We just barely finished making my grandmas spaghetti with garlic bread! Also for dessert we have strawberry short cake!!!" My mouth was watering. "Thank you for this so much!" My dad told them. I nodded with him. "Oh no problem." A fat tall man said. I assumed that was the dad and the other lady was the mom. "Forgive us for not introuducing ourselves! I'm frank, this is my wife Dora, and this is my son Jacob. He's 17!" The fat man said. My dad told them, "Well I'm Jackson and this is my daughter Melody. She's also 17." My dad beamed at the boy. I shyly stepped behind my dad. "Well, how about we eat???" Dora said. I was starving
