Prologue:

"Stop please, I beg of you" I scream in-between laughs as Alec tickles the life out of me, "only if you say that I'm the best boyfriend ever" Alec replies still not letting me go "okay, okay you're the best boyfriend ever, now let me go!" I rapidly breathe out. "finally some appreciation for all I have done for you today" Alec playfully rolls his eyes , letting me go so I can sit on the bed like a normal person, I lean in for a kiss which of course he accepts " happy 3 year anniversary babe" I whisper, Alec smile turns even bigger which makes him even cuter " hey we better get going we don't want to miss our reservation at this place it took me ages to book" Alec says while getting off the bed "all right let me just get my purse" I jump out of bed and get everything I need walking up to Alec and intertwining our finger.

We jump into the car to go to the restaurant, Alec demanded that I wear the special necklace he got me for our anniversary, it says A+V on the back of the love heart, it's super cheesy but I love it. With one hand, I was fiddling with my necklace while my other hand was sitting nice and comfy in Alec's hand in this moment, I couldn't be happier, he was the one I knew it. Alec and I have been together for 3 years now and I love him so much, I didn't think I would fall in love let alone find the one this early in my life, but I guess fate works its way in my life. Alec has been amazing these past few weeks we haven't even fought with each other in over a month, tonight he said he was surprising with a fancy dinner but wouldn't tell me where.

"we're here" Alec says, when I get outside the car we are stood in the most beautiful restaurant that has the view of the ocean and is very modern looking, it is the same restaurant that most celebrities dine at. "wow Alec this is amazing" I can't believe you planned this thank you" I tell Alec while hugging him

"anything for my lady" Alec whispers into my hair

"I love you" I tell him

"I love you too always and forever"

I was so emotional in this moment I knew if we stood there any longer the water works would start luckily Alec saved me by taking us into the restaurant.

The food here was delicious but I couldn't help but notice that Alec was acting strange "are you okay" I asked Alec he was acting on edge the whole dinner and now his eyes were going haywire when I talked to him it was like he snapped out of a trance " ah yeah im fine" he said before quickly changing the subject

Alec reached over the table to grab both my hands his eyes frantically trying to find mine like he was afraid I would run away " Vanessa I can't believe that we have been together for 3 years now, I still remember the first day I saw you in high school you were this little shy girl with the widest smile I've ever seen. Everyone was scared of me because they thought I was a bad guy but you looked past all the comments and still talked to me, I still remember our first date where you were to nervous to look at me while you talk. Thinking back now im so glad that we ended up where we are right now I love you so much Vanessa Edwards I know we are still young and we only graduated last week but Vanessa Edwards will you marry-" Alec was cut off by the loud noises of boots hitting the floor I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't realise what was happening until I snapped out of my bubble to see the police surrounding our table.

Alec hand was roughly yanked out of my hands by the police officer who grabbed him by the neck which made him fall to his knees, my eyes were welling up with tears by what I was seeing "Alec what's happening right now, why are they doing this?" I screamed through the chaos at Alec. When my eyes finally met Alec I would see the guilt behind them " I'm sorry" was the last thing he said before the officer hand- cuffed him.

"Alec Henderson you are under arrest for the illegal part take of the underground gangs that partake in selling drugs and the kidnapping and selling of underage girls, anything you can and say will be used against you" the officer yelled out but everything started to fade and I couldn't see straight. just like that my life was turned upside down.

" ok guys first chapter/ prologue of the book please tell me what you think I literally came up with this idea on the train being a weirdo that I am so im interested to know your thoughts
