Dr. Angelos M. Stergiou, MD, ScD h.c. is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vice Chairman and Founder of the SELLAS Life Sciences Group. He is also a seasoned scientist and physician who has worked in positions of increasing responsibility with companies in both the United States and Europe. Dr. Stergiou is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom and, holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and is an Honorary Degree Recipient from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Dr. Stergiou has done elective training in interventional cardiology-surgery and is a member of organizations such as the American Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research, the World Medical Association and the American Association of Clinical Research. Dr. Stergiou has also collaborated with international academic institutions and all major global health authorities. He also delivers frequent speeches and lectures on his areas of expertise.
