MAGIC

THE BEGINNING

      one fateful night there was  a young girl named marie berenguer and she was on the phone with her best friend named sapphire rose and she was talking and talking and the phone line went dead, she was wondering what happened and she looked down at her wrist and it was glowing! she screamed in pain but then the pain immediately stopped and she was scared to look down to her burning wrist  and when she did there was a radioactive symbol on it.

she woke up the next morning remembering what had happened the night before and got up out of her bed, took a shower, and got dressed she had nothing to do so she just started texting sapphire and it all ended with marie going to sapphire’s house and telling sapphire everything.”how-how did this happen” Sapphire said trembling with fear.
       “i don’t know it just showed up on my wrist it really scared me.”marie said spacing off into nothingness. marie’s mind was befuddled by all of the nonsense the symbol, the phone, nothing made sense “MARIE!!??” sapphire shouted “i have been calling your name for 5 minutes!”
         “S-sorry i was just-” she trailed off again and when she was dragged back to reality by her friends screaming she saw that sapphire was being attacked by leaves and vines and there was nothing she could do to stop it or was there? she held out her arm shaking rapidly and yelled “STOP!” suddenly the vines evaporated into thin air and she looked down at her wrist and it was glowing brightly and it wouldn’t stop. she tried and tried to stop it then a figure appeared above it shining brightly telling her about everything that was going on and it was extremely hard for her to understand anything and then the figure evaporated into nothingness.
                  the next morning,she woke up to be in a dark room with nothing but her and her thoughts and she was confused,but there was a small light in front of her but she noticed that it was growing brighter she turned to run but she stopped herself and thought “i’m running from a light,i have magic powers, and my best friend was attacked by leaves.this must be a dream.” but little did she know that this was not a dream it was reality stabbing her like a knife making her confuse reality and fantasy.and there was nothing she could do stop it .

        the next morning she woke up, memory,dazed on what had happened the night before.she heard pounding and she thought it was the door so she walked to the door  and opened it but there was no one there, and then she realized it was her heart that  was pounding. the pounding, it got faster and as it got faster everything was clear now she had to go see sapphire and she was taken to the night she was being attacked by the leaves and vines and was confused and she remembered what the figure told her, it said “if someone you love dies you will transport to the last time you saw them”  marie started to cry she thought sapphire is dead? it can't be ,she tried again to see her and still transported to the last time she saw her. she cried and cried she had nothing no friends,family the only thing she had was the powers that killed her best friend
           she want to sleep but  her powers woke her and she couldn’t do anything and then she had remembered what had happened to sapphire and started to cry her powers were taking over not only her mind but her body too she ran to a mirror saw that her eyes were turning black and her skin became so thin you could see her veins  and she had an aching pain in her back,she was growing wings.the young,broken,girl you once knew is gone. the powers had completely taken over but there was a sliver of marie left deep deep down at the bottom of what was once her soul now just power and  hate.she                     was                   forgotten
