A young boy at the age of 19 named Dylan, wearing a light green army vest and a forget-me-not-blue shirt, with shorts up to his tan knees, strolls through the forest around he and his grandmother's house. He fears nothing in Willow Forest, for he has been venturing through it and back for over seven years by now.
Dylan gazes lazily at the trees he passes, seeing them for about the millionth time. He stops to listen to the breeze, and picks up a rather big maple leaf. He hears a soft grant in the distance, and his head snaps back to where the sound came from. He picks up a large tree branch from the ground and woods it like a sword, as he edges towards the general direction of the sound. He soon reaches a clearing, and hides behind a tree. Brushing his dark brown hair out of his grey eyes,he glances behind him.His eyes widen at the scene before him;he hasn't seen this in the forest before,of all the times he ventured through it.
What stood before him was a black faced horned...demon?That's what he presumed. It had clear, wide, white eyes, and was wearing a top hat, which was floating two inches from I  sred head. He had on a black jacket with a white collared shirt inside, and cuffs(not handcuffs..) where neatly folded and sticking out of the jacket's sleeves. He had on a red and blue tie, embroidered with a pattern like the diamonds on cards. His pants were normal, but a black pointed tail was sticking out.It  also had its black feathered wings folded, and its pants ends were tucked into its dark, navy blue boots. The boy suspected it to be a demon. He noticed that one of it's legs was stuck under a boulder, but it was no ordinary boulder either.
It was a boulder made of chains.
The demon's foot was tied to it by a chain, and the chain seemed lost in the tangle of other chains.Dylan watched in awe as the demon tried to break free, even twisting it's foot backwards Occasionally, but to no prevail.
Dylan couldn't take being silent for much longer,so he decided to walk out from behind the tree. The thing stopped moving and turned its head to look at Dylan, and sighed. Dylan looked into the thing's unsettling clear eyes and spoke nervously.
"H...Hello..I'm Dylan.What...who are you?"He stammered out quietly, unsure if this...thing would understand him. Surprisingly,it spoke back, which was strange because it didn't really have a visible mouth."Hello,Dylan. I'm Thanos...Thanos Trennial. And I presume you are assuming that I'm a demon, which I am,I can assure you,"the demon replied. They stared at each other in awkward silence for a few minutes before Thanos coughed to try to break it.
"So....c-can I help you,Mr...Trennial?"Dylan asked, not knowing while he was still stammering."I suppose you could.I have the blade to break these chains, but for some reason a demon can't wield it to harm or break things. It is quite strange, which is kind of ironic coming from a demon."Thanos shrugged, and tosses a red-bladed sword at Dylan. It lands at his feet, and Dylan bends to pick it up.
The sword almost instantly breaks the boulder, collapsing it into limp pieces of chain. Dylan cut Thanos free, and Thanos bows a bit low. "Thank you...Dylan. Since you 'saved' me, I suppose I must warn you,"Thanos said quietly. Warn me of what? Dylan thought to himself, ideas of what the demon could mean popping into his head. Thanos answered his mental question almost immediately by saying,"Watch your house, watch your forest, and say goodbye to your guardian.Cherish your time with her while it lasts." Dylan nodded, though he still was quite unsure of what Thanos meant.
With a final bow,Thanos spread his feathers black wings, and flew up and away toward an unknown destination, leaving a confused boy with a sword in the quiet woods,as he shouts"I'LL BE BACK WHEN YOU NEED ME,DYLAN!"

...What could he possibly mean?
