There are a few moments where Pearlidot is bearable, such as when they finally start to work together. However, Peridot thought - and possibly still thinks - that the gem hierarchy placed Pearl beneath her, causing her to feel superior to her. I personally feel like this ship is wrong anyways, seeing as Pearl loved Rose.
