Two : Stressful

Halos 'di magkandamayaw sa kakatawa ang kanyang dalawang empaktang kaibigan matapos niyang isalaysay sa mga ito ang nangyari sa kanilang bahay. Konti nalang at sasabunutan na niya ang mga ito!

Pagkaalis niya ng bahay kanina ay agad siyang dumeretso sa condo ni Marish, at sumunod din si Lorriene matapos niyang tawagan. They're her bestfriends since college.

At ang mga bruha ang sarap pagsasabunutan. Nagawa ba naman siyang tawanan ng marinig ang kanyang kwento.

She pouted. "Girls, this is not funny!"

Agad namang kumalma ang mga ito.

"What has gotten into Tito Edwardo's mind, why he's done that to you?" Lorriene said.

"I don't know! The idea was quite absurd!" Yeah, it really was. Even her mind couldn't grasped the thought of it.

"Drat! Arranged marriage, really?" Marish said. "But hey! Do you have any idea how the guy look?"

"Like what I've said, I've never even saw his shadow!"

"Girl, I saw the couple in the business magazine," wika ni Lorriene, she was talking about Tito Hans and Tita Elise.May pilyang ngiti sa mga labi nito, "and by their looks, I'm sure their son looks hot. You said he was just about your age-"

"Lorriene!" masama ang tinging ipinukol niya rito.

Biglang itinaas ni Lorrienne ang kanyang mga kamay bilang pagsuko, "Okay, relax. Gosh! Gamitan mo ng R, Sky. Maaga kang tatanda niyan."

"Sa tingin mo hindi ako tatanda ng maaga sa sitwasyon ko ngayon? Damnit! This is so stressful!" Napasabunot siya sa kanyang buhok.

Marish chuckles. "Sky, you have to relax, palamigin mo muna yang ulo mo and then after that you need to talk to them and explain your side."

She sighed. "Hindi na ba nila ako mahal? Kaya ipinamimigay na nila ako sa kung sinong Poncio Pilato diyan?" May tampong wika niya. "Hindi pa nga ako nakakapwesto sa kompanya namin, ipapakasal nila ako?! Fvck! I'm not ready for such commitment! "

All her life, she has been spoiled by them. What she wants she gets. She has been their princess. They protected her like a gem. Now she's wondering what makes them betrothed her to someone she has no idea about. Was their business more important to them than her happiness?

Since she graduated from a business school in New York, she had promised her dad that she'll be managing their businesses after she turns 25. And that will be next year. And her dad agreed to that. It was their truce.

Her reason was she wants to be stress free for a year before she'll manage their business.

She was happy traveling, partying with her friends.

She was having the time of her life until her dad dropped that fvckin' issue!

"So, what are your plans?" Lorriene asked while her eyes was on her phone.

Napapikit siya. "I don't know, run away maybe."

"Do you think it's the best idea?" Paagsusukat sa kanya ni Marish.

"You tell me." balik tanong niya rito. "I couldn't think straight right now, Mar."

"Tsk!" Lorriene chuckles."Try mong kausapin ulit sina Tito Edwardo at Tita Carol, Sky."

"Yeah, she's right, Sky." Pagsang-ayon naman rito ni Marish. "Maybe you can still have something to do about their decision."

"You know my dad, girls. When he's set with something, he'll never back down with it." Yeah, and she got that traits from him.

Nakita niyang parehong napakagat labi ang dalawa niyang kaibigan.

"If you have plans, nandito lang kami to back you up?Just don't do something stupid, no?" Marish assured her.

She heaved a deep a sigh and nod.

Biglang napapitik sa ere si Lorriene."Girls, Marco is throwing a party tonight at his club. Are you in?"

Marco was Lorriene's long time boyfriend.

"Count me in!" Marish agreed, "How about you, Sky? You have to enjoy. Maybe to get things out of your head for the mean time."

"Why not? Gusto kong mag alak mamaya." Sang ayon niya rito.

"Okay! The party starts at 8." Lorriene said and then she dialed someone in her phone.

Hindi muna siya uuwi sa bahay nila. Magpapalamig na muna siya ng ulo.

Ititext niya nalang ang mummy niya kung nasaan siya. Kahit naman papaano eh ayaw niyang mag alala ito.

She has clothes here in Marish' condo so it won't be a problem.

Or maybe she will just go shopping today to buy a dress for tonight's party.

Drake

Napasuntok siya sa manibela ng makapasok ng kotse. "Fvck!"

Kakalabas lang niya ng mansion ng kanyang mga magulang. At hindi maganda ang natanggap niyang balita sa mga ito.

So, that's the reason why pinapauwi siya dito Pinas. Damn! It was like a bomb has been dropped on him when he heard his father explain things.

He was told to go back here in Philippines only to find out that he's about to marry someone. That someone he doesn't even know about!

His parents set him up to an arrange-marriage, and he can't even turn them down. Especially his father. He doesn't want to disappoint him.

His father explained that it was for their business' benefits. At mabuti na rin daw kasi matalik na kaibigan ng Papa niya ang ama ng pakakasalan niya.

"It's time you stop playing with girls, Son." As his father stated earlier.

"And it's also the perfect time for you to settle down, hijo. We're not getting any younger. We also want to see our grandchildren before we pass away, Drake." Pagsang-ayon naman ng ina niya.

Damn! He's still 26, for fvcking sake! It's still too early to get married. In fact, he was still enjoying his bachelor life. But shit! He doesn't want to disappoint them.

He's a cold hearted man and ruthless especially when it comes to business, but that doesn't change the fact that he's very dedicated to his parents. He's so close to them. They're his weakness.

He's never been into serious relationship after his break up with Celine.

He used girls like how he discard his clothes, no string attached.But maybe now, that will change. Fvck! Marriage?! Parang pinaninindigan siya ng balahibo sa isiping iyon.

"Oh fvck my life!"
